As an ardent pro-wrestling fan, I know I personally would greatly appreciate seeing an honest, objective review/take on the wrestling figures. It drives me mad to see so many shameless ass kissers (shills) reviewing wrestling figures and say absolutely nothing of substance or instruction. They are much too biased and say what these companies and websites want to hear. It is outdated, outmoded and shameless. From a purely objective perspective, an honest review from you would be marvellously refreshing, Mister Anthony. It is one of the chief, principle reasons why I bloody love your channel. 👍
I can only give this unboxing a 8/10. It would be a 10/10 but the boxes weren’t opened haphazardly with a katana.
I'd love to see you do more casual unboxings like this because it's fun to see you just kinda hang out and see what's in store
Not interested in any of these figures but surprise figures can be fun. It's always neat to see your reaction to things you aren't familiar with too haha
I definitely want to get that Bryan Danielson figure, how he looks without the robe and with the shaved head is pretty much how he looked when I got to see him live defending the ROH World Championship in 2006. I've been watching him wrestle for damn near 20 years now, so there's a lot of nostalgia there for me with that figure.
Let's see a review of that lil master chief!

that fish set rocks. i'd enjoy reviews of the wrestling stuff, you can still review them objectively as action figures, in fact it would be better than most wrestling reviews which are almost-always either:
1. ringside collectibles shills
2. people who review the wrestler more than the figure

The 2-Pack of Wrestlers is very cool from a merch perspective, since it's a throwback set of two of the best tag-team wrestlers ever. To their early days for ROH. A lot of wrestling fans hate them because they lean into internet memes about wrestling for their characters and do a lot of nudge-nudge, wink-wink, wrestling is fake, kinda schtick with their movenames, like naming one of their finishing moves after a well known wrestling journalist.
They're top class athletes, and performers, high energy in the ring and accurate performance of their wrestling "spots" but due to a lot of their matches being built around specific choreographed high "spots, rather than going with the flow and making it look more believable (a concept called ring psychology in the wrestling performance world), so a lot of older school wrasslin' fans dont like them because it look more fake and stunt-show performance, rather than than the artistic representation of a real fight that wrestling is "supposed" to be in their eyes.
As for their look, they just purposely wear as much outlandish shit as they can to draw attention at indy shows. As they became more popular (theyre quite literally one of THE most popular indy-wrestling tag-team acts, of all time, to the point that a "supergroup" consisting of them and 3 other guys, were popular enough for a businessman to convince Warner-Brothers to start a new wrestling TV show, All Elite Wrestling, to complete with the WWE, which hasn't been done properly since the death of WCW in the 2000s) as they became more popular they nailed down this tassels and lots of colour aesthetic.
Bryan Danielson on the other hand, is probably, one of the best in ring performers, of all time, perfect execution of wrestling manoeuvres, high intensity performer, never tired, always gives it 100%, signed with WWE after becoming super popular in the indy scene and at ROH, where this figures look is from, he floundered in WWE because WWE like perfomeres with charisma, talkers who can go to the ring and talk into a microphone and be entertaining to "sell" the "angle" around a match, rather than just nailing the match itself, and Bryan Floundered because he wasn't that good at that, but he got better at in WWE to the point where a groundswell of support from fans in the arena, lead to them "booking" Wrestlemania revolving around his story of redemption and overcoming adversity (in the storyline, he was being held back by the bosses, and not given chances, mirroring the real world conditions) due to the crowds support, literally one of the best moments in wrestling, bore out of them dropping the dogshit storyline he was in, in favour of the better one that lead to him being the headline act at Wrestlemania XXX and it feature one of my favourite wrestling moments of all time as he literally conducts the crowd, to join in one of his signature taunts/chants, and get the entire crowd to chant and pose with him in perfect unison.
In real life, the real bosses didnt think he could "cut a promo" so to alleviate him of needing to talk, they had his character be brainwashed by, a wrestling cult leader, called Bray Wyatt (RIP Rotunda) and indoctrinated into a cult, so a better talker could talk about his matches and hed just have to go out and wrestle. This upset real life fans, who kept wanting hime to d something better and chanting for him, and complaining online and etc. So they decided to have his character break out of the cults control, after losing a match the Cult Leader goes to punish him and Bryan Danielsson (Wrestling under his creative WWE Name, Daniel Bryan) beats him up and leads the crowd.... But he gets them to slow down, crowds are so fucking finicky they've doing the same fucking chants since the 2000s, Stone Colds "WHAT!" chant when ever somebody talks to slow in a "Promo" stilll happens 20 fucking years later. and Bryan manages to control the fucking tempo of the crowd for his signature "YES!" chants, typially the crowd just pump their arms and point to the sky and shout yes, in a simple: 1, 2, 3, 4. 1, 2, 3, 4. Tempo. But he gets them to slooooooow it down and they end up in perfect usison and it's maybe the best example of crowd work in wrestling IMHO. and the crowd ALL being behind him in ONE voice gives me frission ever time: watch the last 4 minutes of this video to see the moment- th-cam.com/video/xormCgprJzk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vOijIZigljW7mOIq&t=504 .... Also, these Vault figures a some of the very limited times that jazzwares uses soft goods, so a review would be interesting on that front as well.

Ring of Honor is wrestling, it was an indie promotion in the 2000s that recently became a part of AEW. Jazwares does AEW figures, so this is just a continuation of that.
Bryan Danielson got his start in ROH before going to WWE and coming to AEW and did a perfect storm of a figure like this. I think it's dope, I know wrestling isn't your bag but I think this is a decent piece.

Also, I forgot to comment on the shall we say, controversial pro-wrestling topic of this channel. I am an ardent fan, and you are correct about Danielson. If you did not know, Bryan Danielson is one of the greatest pro wrestlers on the planet. That is not hyperbole. He just had a cracking match with Will Osprey at AEW Dynasty this past Sunday (21/4/24). The Young Bucks are blood brothers, and they are also the EVP’s of All Elite Wrestling. In kayfabe (pro-wrestling insider term), they are portrayed as two petty, insufferable twats - but they are entertaining as hell to watch in the ring. 🤘

Hello there! Thank you for your question. No, I would not compare The Young Bucks (aka The Jackson’s; aka The Elite) to WWE’s Pretty Deadly. Pretty Deadly are far more flamboyant, flashy and sordid; they lack character, charisma, and to be completely honest, a bit boring to watch, in-ring, that is. On the other hand, the Young Bucks, insufferable and petty as they are, put on amazing tag team matches with whomever they are in the ring against. Plus, with their current heel EVP gimmick, I reckon they are doing some of the best work of their careers, ever. I am happy for them.

Theyre a bit older than their prime and still very good but a lot less high flying and a lot more choreographed, a lot of Wrasslin' fans cant stand them because their matches are obviously built around oging from choreographed "spot", to choreographed "spot" and often gloss over basic "ring psychology" to build to those key moments, making their matches look a bit more fake than most.
But theyre phenomnal athletes and solid performers. Definitely one of the best tag team acts ever.
Vibe wise, they were like two 2000s heel Chris Jehrico smart arses, but they evolved into just being the weirdest shitbags ever, with the over the top outfits and are now playing on their positions in the company as Ecexutive-Vice Presidents, or EVPs, to run a "heel authority" meets NWO kinda gimmick as the: Extremely Violent People. I just got my big shot battle pack and two master chief figures. The quality is terrible, the plastic feels different and cheap from their other releases. The joints are super loose especially on the two master chief halo 4 figures I bought. I'm so disappointed I'm starting a return as we speak

When it comes to these sort of collectibles boxes, your reviews are very informative, and convince me that while they might sound nice in theory, they’re definitely not for me.
If you’re interested in absolutely everything in the package, I can see it being a good deal. But for me, it’s 95% just going to be stuff I don’t care about.

Ordered the Halo big shot pack instantly. Those figures had released only in Canada and Mexico about 2 years ago. I can do without the Halo 5 figures.
