Nice catch brother, I say 8-9 hard to tell by pic,way to go on catch & release,we'll how big was it,I assume the water was cold is why u kept in cooler

Falls lake, beaver dam boat ramp is a good spot to fish in a kayak, Jordan lake spots that are cutoff from main lake are good spots as well.
