Yeah, I only just read about it on the news as well. There are talks of Sunwolves joining the Global Rapid Rugby competition after SR though, so all is not lost

Was the schedule for this game announced for a different day/date, no-one turned up to watch!!
I think Sunwolves may just call it quits at the end of this season as there's no point in them playing next season knowing they're not going to be taking part in 2021.

Can anyone explain why there was a yellow card on that attempt to block the pass at 0:34?
It was an intentional knock on which is when a player makes no effort to catch/intercept the ball but instead kills the play by hitting the ball to the ground - it's always a penalty but because this one clearly stopped a try from happening it was also a yellow card and penalty try

If a player goes for the intercept and the ball goes down, it's considered cynical play, and that the player was just trying to kill the move. Cynical play gets a yellow card and penalty of sorts (here a penalty try). If the player goes for the intercept, and the ball is not caught, but knocked up, then there is just a "knock on" and no card or penalty.

apparently Marx was instrumental in this game? you could have placed a scrumhalf on his position at the muals and they stil would have scored.. SA fans and critics like to make hype where there is none, if you want to see the standard watch the chiefs vs bulls game..
He had two tries, made 30 meters, was the Lions top tackler, got several turnovers, conceded no penalties, and made 100% of his line out throws. Yeah I'd call that pretty influential.
