  • Hello everyone! Here's a review of the Armanov Index Bearing Cam Block with adjustable primer depth stop for the Dillon XL750. It's a great product and Armanov has many other great products, so check them out at the link below:

Why Do they only give you one spring? When you change from small too large primers do you have to swap the spring? I tried to order the spring and it was $3.50 but $23 to ship it. WTF???

WOW! I'm sorry to hear that. That's weird. Mine came with the spring and you do not have to swap it for large primers.

Thanks for watching! WOW! I'm sorry to hear that. On their website, it shows there a dealer in Glendale, AZ. I don't know if that's within driving distance for you. I got my stuff from a store in FL when they shipped it to me. Some items do come from Slovenia, and even then I got it within 3 days and it was cheap.

I have one of these on my 750 and reload rifle ammo on it. The problem i have is that the 750 does not seat primers deep enough. The round shellplate part comes down and bottoms out on top of the primer slider so there is no way to get primers to seat deeper. You can adjust the Armanov seating bolt all the way down but it won't make any difference.

That has not been my experience. I was able to get the ram further down and to seat the primers more deeply and positively (which is an issue I only have with Winchester primers, not with the Federal brand that I usually and almost exclusively use). The Armanov product comes with a shorter spring that replaces the one under the primer cup on the primer arm that moves back-and-forth under station 2. If you don't change that out, the original spring will bottom out and not allow the shellplate to go any further down. My shell plate absolutely now bottoms out on the adjustable bolt of the cam block.

On mine, if I slide a piece of paper on to the top of the primer bar and infront of the spring, which I did change, and primer pin and then lower the shellplate like you are seating a primer, the shellplate will bottom out on top of the primer arm and you can't pull the piece of paper out. Mechanically there is no way to lower the shellplate any further. So the adjustment bolt is meaningless. The ram and shellplate cannot go any lower.

@@clifcassidy8423 OK, well I don't have any idea why you're having that problem. Mine, with the Armanov bottoming out bolt as low as it can go has my priming pin so far out of the shellplate that it's absurd. When I pull out a case in position 2, and without a primer on top, the priming pin comes all the way out to the top of the black revolving shellplate, far too much travel to seat a primer, so I had to back it out again to where I had it. So I don't get why you're having this problem and you may need to check your setup.
On mine, when the priming pin is at the top of the black shellplate (way too far up) I still have visible room under the non-rotating shellplate--I could slide several sheets of paper under it and still have room. So on mine, the Armanov does what it's supposed to and has allowed me to seat primers even deeper than I need to.

      Thanks for watching!
Well, my machine is coming up on 4 years old and mine did not come with that feature. Also, I couldn't find that as a part for the XL750 on Dillon's website. If you can find out that they've changed it to this adjustable type, please let me know.
