Hunter was flat, yet bloated.
To be fair, Andrew is a once in a century bodybuilder that everyone will eventually have problems with. My hats off to Hunter for nearly taking Andrew out at Andrew’s all-time best.
Once in a century? Lol, ever heard of ronnie coleman, flex wheeler, jay cutler, Dorian Yates, or phik heath? They would all beat andrew even at his best

I feel hunter did very well against Andrew . People don't realize he did this show to see what would work best between these two shows for him to peak at the O.
You over estimate him and the way judging is, his side and back has massive weaknesses , that’s why he was only 1 point behind

TBH I think hunter had Andrew beat on that one among a few others, like rear lat spread. Looks like Andrew needs to work on his actual posing for some of those, hunter is an absolute statue!

That back double was FIRE. All the back shots were Hunters because Andrew's lower body wasn't nearly as shredded. Andrew is pretty strong up front but still very very close. Great show. Hunter is LEGIT
"Pretty strong up front" ?!?! If Andrew can get his lover half (Espessially from behind)) up and match his "pretty strong up front"... No one in these days bodybuilding has a chance! No one!
Andrew just has so many stronger shots than Hunter because of his insane genetics. Hunter was very strong here no doubt about it, but just don't have the shape and flow as this guy....
I doubt Andrew will be able to do that though! (Get his hamstring and lover back to match his top) But if he does.... those years will be like the Phill, Ronnie, Haney and Dorian years, in my opinion!

Congrats on another great show Hunter! You said you would do both, and you did! From what I heard, it was a 1 point decision so depending on which scores got dropped, could have easily been you #1. Realistically Andrew is one of those dudes with just next level genetics. Going to be a dog fight on that Olympia stage this year with a solid group of guys!

Here is my thoughts Mr. Hunter.... One you are so dang dedicated, got God first, train strictly/healthfully, approach Bodybuilding as an exercise physiologist, have family/deep ties in the sport, are only 31 years old... did I mention you live in the best city, in the best state, in the best country in the history of the world - Houston, TX... My money long term is on Hunter Labrada - Andrew has 2-4 years to get this thing figured out before father time catches up... Hunter please keep doing what you have be doing since the 2022 Olympia... and continue to grow, target issues and destroy those issues! So stoked for your future Hunter!

You looked great! Hunter. The coloring shows a lot of detail differences but you have nothing to be nervous or apprehensive about. How many shows have you done? Don’t worry about the competitor. Do you. Andrew is a 40 yr old guy, and he will face Samson and watch what happens when you get same heights guys around. Stay focused and that sweating, I hope you get that taken care of. Nice job

For me it could have gone either way but I'm glad that Andrew is going to the Olympia, they were both in shape and killed it.

It was very close and i think you looked better than Andrew in several poses. Your posing is better, your legs were leaner, glutes in, crazy from the back. Just need a little more control of the mid section. For whatever reason, Andrew finds it easy to keep his midsection tight. It must be so hard because youre posing your arse off.
Body building is all about beating the previous version of your and Hunter did just that.

I know Hunter is a little disappointed but I was really hoping to hear is thoughts at the end. He has to keep his head up because he has nothing to be ashamed of. He was 1 point behind the best version of Andrew we've seen so far. I haven't seen it posted but people said he started to sweat and fade a little the more they put them through the rounds. That's probably the only reason the judges gave it to Andrew. Hunter brought his back up to be one of the best in the IFBB right now and no one thought that was possible including me. His conditioning was way ahead of Andrew's, not to mention he had better legs. Both Hunter and Andrew are going to shake up that top 6 for sure.

Hunter, keep your head up. You have improved tremendously and I thought you should have won. Andrew's legs were just not there. Continue to improve. I don't know what you've changed, but the skin and overall condition is much thinner and tighter. Much more contour to your body now.

So in a interview psycho Lewis said Andrew specially ask for the sane girl to do his shine but he didn’t say her name …she’s definitely always spot on !

Most guys would've stopped after their Olympia qualifier win if Andrew Jacked was waiting for them--you manned up, went to battle and damn near beat him. Congrats, break back into that top 5 at the O this year
Losing to Andrew is no shame imo,Andrew has turned pro last year & shaking the industry,so people can understand his physique is gifted,if he gets one year of off season he has the potential to be Mr O, Andrew & Hunter both should be in top 6 this year

Hunter more complete but only thing I. CAn think of is colour needs to be darker more brown less orange a tad more oil and try to avoid losing abs. Control especially lower abs. That said best Hunter ever and could have gone either way. Two of the very best at their best…. Crazy good.
I would love to know what Hunter's Dad was thinking at 6:20 ....6:24 ? especially with that look on his face.
Hunter with better conditioning in my opinion especially from the back double bi. His hamstrings dominated Andrew. But andrews size being a tall man just had it.
Tbf Andrew is a generational talent that when he puts it together is dam near unstoppable hunter still gave him a darn good run for his money but Andrew’s upper body is just too dam dominant maybe the best upper body in the entire ifbb already
Here's my thing about Andrew winning.... His weak areas i.e. hamstrings are so far behind Hunter's that it's not even close. Yes, he is very good from the front, but that doesn't make up for the weak body parts. You have to ask yourself, are his strengths really that much better than Hunter's that it makes it for his weaknesses? For me, I just don't think so.... Either way, both did incredible job and this was probably the 3rd best show outside the Olympia and Arnold this year!
Very close call. Seems Andrew was just way more in control and made the pose look effortless. Not breathing heavy and the confidence showed on his face. Judges notice that stuff. good thing is this is an easy fix for Hunter. Possibly consider not doing that forced smile/grimace and keep it to a small confident smile.

Hunter looked great. No shame in losing to someone like Andrew. I’d like to see Hunter prioritize his chest like he prioritized his back.
