Some artist get so upset with people recreating their style, I personally don’t believe a style belongs to anyone, as artists we’ve always taken inspiration from others. There’s a artist on TH-cam who called out a small artist for using her style and it upset me a lot because people went and attacked this artist. I appreciate that you encourage people to take inspiration from your work. Someone else’s gains aren’t your loss

You've taken the fear out of trying this new product because you did fun art. Prints would be wonderful, can they be done thin and long and cat in the square. style.
Those are great. Really love the cat one. Glad your cats are ok. My cat is a “good girl” for the most part… but she DOES drive me crazy when she’s misbehaving…. I do love her like crazy… I’m a dog person… but I love all animals…. My husband is a cat person, and is allergic to dogs…. Also, Soma (our cat) chose us, when she was kitten.
Wonderful inspiration for my watercolor pencils! I love using them but honestly haven’t used them on watercolor paper…not sure why I never thought of it! I’ve always used mixed media paper….oh and your cat painting is soooo fabulous! I’m really going to try it ….oh and of course now that I’ve found you I will be subscribing!

Pretty! I really love watercolor pencils and that scratchiness effect they are perfect for illustrations as the color is easier to control compared to watercolors. And I love steadler. The quality compared to the price is really satisfying.
I love my watercolor pencils too because you can get the watercolor look and details like using colored pencils, best of both worlds. Great landscape ideas as well :)
That painting with the cat is lovely,and your kittens are SO cute 😊 My kitty Misha is the light of my life(she is the one that's my avatar on YT)..as a cat person I loved that "cat mountain" piece,I would buy a print of that if I could..I've been thinking about trying watercolor pencils,I've never been a fan of watercolors but I thought maybe if I started with the pencils then maybe I'd change my mind about watercolors and start working with them..another great video 😊👍
Your 'weird tree on the left' is not as weird as you might think. There is a tree just down the street from me that looks almost the same except for being coniferous. They chopped off a redwood tree but left a tall trunk. Now that a couple years have passed, it is sprouting new greenery from the top and the sides. The only real difference is that the foliage on the redwood tree is conically shaped rather than round.
im surprised you were able to layer them. my watercolor sketchbook just stop taking layers once i wet the pencil laid down. might give them a go again haha
