I have listened to that many times.she was amazing ,what a knowledge of the chest voice ,not strange because her teacher was one of the best in Italy. One day after having admired her once more ,i went back to the memorable Marie Bell's interpretation of Phedre ,immortalized by Pierre Joudan with an excellent Claude Giraud as Ippolyte👍💥
Caniglia considered herself as spinto .Only in the last decade ,she added some more drammatic roles & only occasionally. She did some performances of Norma ,Vestale ,Nabucco ,Gioconda. Her teacher in Naples was very severe about the choice of the roles, being aware that bad choices can harm a voice. The middle voice is that of spinto ,but with a very powerful & well trained chest. Chest voice is something very special. (Nilsson ,a dramatic ,didn't use chest)
