I love the poetic voice of tetsu, he is beyond of being merely a singer, he is an artist you can feel the difference between klaha, gackt and tetsu, klaha and gackt are just singers very good singers but are too much worried about the technical things, but tetsu is pure and overwhelming open heart, he sing from his soul like a true vampire

I’ve been taking my time with MM’s discography (I tend to this with a lot of bands, I don’t like to blast through all of a band’s music). I started off with the Gackt era and then the Klaha era. Started listening to the Tetsu era about a month ago and all I can say is. Wow. This band has never disappointed me. Tetsu’s vocals are truly beautiful and so theatrical. I’ve never heard a vocalist portray emotions so well before. To know that so many people don’t like Tetsu’s vocal is really sad. He deserves so much more respect! He was after all what got Malice Mizer started in the first place, which a lot of people seem to forget. Hope Tetsu is doing well in life.
Tetsu is doing very well! After leaving MM he’s been in several bands and had a great solo career. Happy you are enjoying his work now
I love the Tetsu era, too. It's a pity that some of the best songs he performed live back then with the band were never recorded in a studio. There are about 20 M+M songs from the Tetsu era!
im an example of someone who didnt like him. I was too hard fan of GAKT. until I got old enough and it click in me. now i hate GAKT xD in simpler words I think Tetsu is for more mature ppl.

I just love this so much, even though I'm not at all a fan of visual kei. The vocals remind me a little of early 80s post-punk groups in how unabashedly emotive and dramatic they are
I know that you wrote this super long ago but I am a huge Tetsu Takano fan and basically have almost his full discography after Malice Mizer. His singing is off the charts, you should check out his work after, it's very punk and post punk influenced. He had a few separate projects such as "nil", "the junejulyaugust", "the black comet club band" and his most recent "disco volante". He actually is still making music and came out with a new album this year under "disco volante" and the singing has not gone down in quality even after all these years.

Я же глубоко уважаю творчество всех троих. Тэцу запоминается великолепным эмоциональным вокалом. Творчество Гакта запоминается особой романтичностью. Голос Клахи глубокий, завораживающий. La mejor era es absolutamente la de Klaha, pero tienes razón: esta canción es más adecuada a la voz de Tetsu. La versión en que canta Klaha es... no sé como describirlo, pero manca algo.

He is an amazing singer, but not for malice mizer. I think he would fit in other bands. But in the begin, he used a high pitch, it sounds not so good as a start. If you listen to gackt and klaha, the started low and soft... but he instantly pitches. Maybe that is what shocked into people about his vocal, but the more you listen, you hear that he has a good voice. But only the start of the song was a bit off because the music should start melodious soft, not creaking loud. Not his fault tho!

I don't like Tetsu's voice, in my opinion, it sounds too melodramatic and uncontrolled, which makes his vocals sound pretentious. Gackt and Klaha's voices sound more armonious and expressive.

the thing about tetsu is his style ages better. when i first started listening to MM back in the early 00's I used to hate Tetsu and revisiting this era of MM today is actually more enjoyable than Gackt era. Don't get me wrong I love Gackt but after re-listening to MERVEILLES it sounded a little camp to me. Tetsu's style is RAW I guess i was too young to understand it back then... my 0.02c
