I love the poetic voice of tetsu, he is beyond of being merely a singer, he is an artist you can feel the difference between klaha, gackt and tetsu, klaha and gackt are just singers very good singers but are too much worried about the technical things, but tetsu is pure and overwhelming open heart, he sing from his soul like a true vampire

His singing is off the charts, you should check out his work after, it's very punk and post punk influenced. He had a few separate projects such as "nil", "the junejulyaugust", "the black comet club band" and his most recent "disco volante". He actually is still making music and came out with a new album this year under "disco volante" and the singing has not gone down in quality even after all these years.

He is an amazing singer, but not for malice mizer. I think he would fit in other bands. But in the begin, he used a high pitch, it sounds not so good as a start. If you listen to gackt and klaha, the started low and soft... but he instantly pitches. Maybe that is what shocked into people about his vocal, but the more you listen, you hear that he has a good voice. But only the start of the song was a bit off because the music should start melodious soft, not creaking loud. Not his fault tho!
I don't like Tetsu's voice, in my opinion, it sounds too melodramatic and uncontrolled, which makes his vocals sound pretentious. Gackt and Klaha's voices sound more armonious and expressive.
the thing about tetsu is his style ages better. when i first started listening to MM back in the early 00's I used to hate Tetsu and revisiting this era of MM today is actually more enjoyable than Gackt era. Don't get me wrong I love Gackt but after re-listening to MERVEILLES it sounded a little camp to me. Tetsu's style is RAW I guess i was too young to understand it back then... my 0.02c
