It’s called Afterfire.
Afterfire - An afterfire is when fuel is burned after the combustion chamber, often causing fire to shoot out of the exhaust. This is what most people are thinking of when they say backfire. It mostly happens in high performance cars, and is a result of un-burnt fuel entering the hot exhaust system. Some of the causes of this include a rich fuel mixture, anti-lag systems, and retarded ignition timing. For the most part, afterfires are safe, and usually just a sign of high-performance engines.
Backfire - A backfire is when fuel is burned while the intake valve is still open, causing it to fire back out the intake. This is something you don't want to happen.
This is an extremely common mistake that I see people making all the time. As in, I've only ever seen this done the right way around like 2 or 3 times
Slossage17 thanks, that's why I confused before and I don't know what's it called. Backfire is something wrong happen as you explain that we didn't want to get. And I thought backfire also a fire come off from exhaust.
Slossage17 it’s from not enough fuel which means it’s running lean on deceleration

Idd and also afterfire cools the exhaustsystem due to the unburnt fuel which is wanted in high-performance engines, for less malfunctions. (I am not sure about that, but my friend who is a racing mechanic told me that)
I have a raptor 350 and it only shoots flames when it's dark and idk why

What do i need to do to make my bike shoot flames and backfire? Everything on my bike is stock and i am only planning to buy full exhaust system its a 2018 zx6r

I'm not a fan of r1'S sound at all. It doesn't sounds like a sportsbike. R6 is a beauty in shape n sound.
R1 is very well known for its unique exhaust sound because of its crossplane crankshaft engine and here you think it doesn't sound like a sportsbike? Tell me how couldn't a 1000cc motorcycle sound like a sport bike? Do you even know anything?
