Some kid cussed the teacher out today and got caught, I said jokingly “how is it that you always say the stupidest thing at the wrong moment?” He got offended, so his friend said this in the most calmest tone I’ve ever heard “he’s the class autistic, like he’s literally a reetard,”. (I have autism) Making it sound obvious, and tbh I thought he was joking but no he was dead serious. So I apologized and kept to my self. And for the rest of the period, that kid continually called me a reetard behind my back but when I came near him, he looked at me and went silent. I was thinking so many ways to tell him to stfu tomorrow, but that’s when I saw this video, thank you for posting this May god bless you 🙏
I deal with the same thing, these people are bitter not just with the world but with themselves, do not hate them or fault them for the things they can't change about themselves. They already put themselves through enough pain for such faults Instead take the behaviour of these people as examples to not be followed. Such is the way of inner peace and communion with the Spirit of God
The best thing is to pray for him and brush it off. Assuming your in middle school, it'll pass. Believe me I had my fair share of being bullied. I wanted to fight them but I gave myself some time to reflect and thought, "Am I no better than them if i fought them?". Overtime I was able to defeat my enemies and did it the best way possible; befriending them. Remember, Christ forgave those who mocked him, spat on him, beat him, and crucified him. Could you forgive someone who was nailing nails into your hands? Christ did and so can you when people laugh and mock you. Do not let the enemy triumph over you. Stand firm and trust in God.
