Hi ya Jeff , we had some sad news yesterday our very good friend and vet we worked for passed away at home , he has just turned 60 . Tammy and all us girls that worked with him are in shock. , He was the most caring , loving and he would do anything for humans and animals alike . I'm going to miss talking about old times in England he came from Devon . Our family have known him for over 34 years . Please say a prayer for his 3 kids that have lost the best dad . Finally we got a huge rainstorm last night and it's the cool down for us here in the South West. Now to get my Fall decorations up! Someone I know keeps insisting that Christmas is supposed to be in September 😂😂 I have no idea where that's coming from. I keep saying I hope not. My Christmas decorations would melt! Fall comes to the Southwest too and I can't wait to head up N and see the leaves turn and to visit our apple farms and pumpkin patches. Meanwhile you have made such a perfect dish for this time of year. Fall squashes and summer fruits. Perfect blend of Sept.

Looks delicious! Here's something I like to do with acorn squash. I sear a few pork chops in a pan, take them out and then add some sauerkraut to the pan and brown a little. Next I take the sauerkraut, add it to a 13 x 9 pan, nestle the pork chops into the sauerkraut and then I add sliced acorn squash, skin still into the sauerkraut as well. I add a little bit of pure maple syrup onto each slice of the acorn squash, just a little. I then bake it at 350 degrees F for about an hour, covered for the first 45 taking the foil off the last 15. Depending on your oven the squash should be soft by then. Believe it or not acorn squash with sauerkraut tastes amazing... Hope you try it sometime!

If you Google it or look at it on TH-cam it is one of natures super foods ....honestly too many to list them all ....heart health ...nail hardening....digestive health...I like to add in a little way where you don't have to exactly taste it ...in the cake mix ...on top of the sweet potato casserole ...in my meat loaf ! ...in pancakes ! Etc. Its hard to believe the benefits to this ...I use ground flax seed 🍂☕

I usually glaze the Top of the Cake with a a Brown 🟤 Sugar & a little Pumpkin/Spice with just a 1/4 teaspoon of Rum or possibly Currents & Raisins, I go with whatever I feel like. I always change it up.
