    Thank you so much! I have tried to copy the formula, but I kept getting an error when the last part of this section is added. "ALL('DIM_DateTable'[Date],DIM_DateTable[Date]

    Thank you for sharing.
    What's the definition of new customers in this case ? Customers who have not visited during the year (12M) or works backwards from the date selected to 365 days ? Ex: if we are in the first month of the year, let's say Jan. Does it consider all customers who have not visited from Feb last year to Jan this year or only Jan ?
    Also, it would be helpful to understand lapsed customers i.e. customers who visited in past years and have returned after a gap of 1 year or 2 years.

    • @MITutorials
      @MITutorials  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is basically looking at the entire data and returning whether it is a new customer or not.
      If you need to add the timeframe to this you will have to tweak the variables 'Current Customers' & 'PastCustomers' so that they will look into that particular time frame and return whether the customer is old or new.

    I have a request, how can we get lost customers based on slicers(Year and MonthName from calendar)
    If 2023 selected so the table will show customer name, New customer sales which start sales in 2023.
    Repeat customers sales which were available in previous months and years also.
    Lost customers sales which were available in 2023 but when i select 2023 then table can show these customers previous sales in negative to know how much sales we lost in current period of which customers?

    Thanks to you for making it easily understandable 😄
    I have a quick doubt. If we divide Old Customers by Total Customers, we'll get the Retention Rate right ?

    Nice.
    Created Data from July 21 to Dec 21 and Date table as well.
    When i use the Measure for No. of New Customer, (First Month, July 21) customers are shown as new customers. However, in your work, For January 2020. No. of new customers are Zero. How?

    • @MITutorials
      @MITutorials  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have previous years of data as well which was filtered. The first month must always show as new customers!

    Hi.
    Its only working when I'm selecting a particular year.
    I've marked all years and now "New Customers" is showing up as same as "Total Customers" & "Old customers" is coming up as 0. Anyone have any idea why is it happening ?

    • @MITutorials
      @MITutorials  ปีที่แล้ว

      When you select all years , what do you want to compare with ?

    • @jayantsenguptarock
      @jayantsenguptarock ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MITutorials I would like to compare it with the previous years. If selection is 2017 then it should compare it with 2014.15 and 16.
