Thank you for sharing. What's the definition of new customers in this case ? Customers who have not visited during the year (12M) or works backwards from the date selected to 365 days ? Ex: if we are in the first month of the year, let's say Jan. Does it consider all customers who have not visited from Feb last year to Jan this year or only Jan ? Also, it would be helpful to understand lapsed customers i.e. customers who visited in past years and have returned after a gap of 1 year or 2 years.
This is basically looking at the entire data and returning whether it is a new customer or not. If you need to add the timeframe to this you will have to tweak the variables 'Current Customers' & 'PastCustomers' so that they will look into that particular time frame and return whether the customer is old or new.

When you select all years , what do you want to compare with ?

You must be missing some step in between. Please follow the tutorial carefully.
