Thank you guys so much for all your videos. You guys are really showing me and my family another fun side of KZN. My 4 year old daughter wants to know where is your other friend that usually joins you guys ? My daughter loves her and her expression when she tries out the food.

You guys didn't try pani puri? It's the best. I don't know if they also have papdi chaat on the menu which is my favorite between pani puri and papdi chaat as Rashu makes it the best....authentic India style.

A wonderful effort as always and thanks for the review. Please don't take this the wrong way but I am familiar with the food from this place. I am Punjabi, female and proudly South African so I'm fortunate to have experienced both. This is not authentic Punjabi food. They actually just use the same gravy base and add it all their dishes to make them different based on the addition of the main ingredient. I know proper Punjabi food, i eat it every day and this is very far off. Also, keep in mind you did not have anything to compare it to, which is understandable. I apologise if this criticism seems harsh but it's sad and i find it quite frustrating that they charged you guys such high prices just to lie to you.

Hi there, thank you so much for the kind words and for watching. This is not harsh at all and we thank you for letting us know. We will put up a post on socials as we were told it was authentic. We really did love the taste and we ordered a variety, I suppose if we ordered more curries we would have been able to tell the similar flavours. I cannot wait to try the real thing and will do so when we do visit India again. We do agree that it is expensive, so not exactly a restaurant we call value for money. However, it seems to be a very popular choice in the area so price does not seem to matter to some. We really do appreciate your feedback and let us know if there are any authentic places in Durban that you have been to.
