I watch too much American politics, I will say not a fan of the Republican party at all but Liz Cheney is someone you can respect. He knew they were building a case against him but also knew that if he was re-elected, the time limit to prosecute him would expire.
Come 2024, he’d be free to cause more harm.

He's just waiting for Trump to declare that he's running, and then DOJ will go back to its inert status.
And he already stated that he is continuing Barr's policy of no investigations without his personal authorization.
When Trump eventually loses, he'll complain that the election was rigged and dispite the results.
Garland will then refuse to reopen any investigations until Trump concedes, which won't happen.
The statute of limitations will expire on all but the most serious charges, which Garland will state cannot be prosecuted, because too much time has passed and there is insufficient evidence for sedition or Treason charges.

Footage publicly available shows the police officer at the center of the viral claim following a protester into the Senate, then repeatedly asking the protesters to leave. None of the footage reviewed indicates he gave them permission to enter the building in the first place. Get some new 💩

How closely did you pay attention to the testimony and other remarks by GA Sec of State Raffensperger and assistant sec Gabe Sterling which were known in political circles well before the hearings? I'm not saying that they should receive any particular honors but the extent to which family members and non-political employees in Georgia were harassed/intimidated was criminal. If I were the father of either of those ladies I'd be a nervous wreck and have a lot of sleepless nights.
Thats why during his term the White house was a revolving door of job insecurity even for some of the most ambitious and people with otherwise successful long term careers in politics.

I watched the riot, and each of these hearings, as well as every significant event to date. It's difficult to watch the airing of these hearing without openly crying as a baby so I turned the volume down as I wrote this comment. At this critical point I see the necessity in showing it again. I am a personal witness to the bias, prejudice and hatred that is still prominent in the minds of citizens based on the opinions of people I call my friends in reference to what Trump did and is currently doing. My so called friends are a cross section of this country general opinion of our Federal Government. Insurrection has and will come from within . It's not over. Even after Trump is convicted, sentenced and long passed away the problem will remain. And there is not a DAME thing the patriots of the country can do about it. God help us!
