One of the alltime greatest mods. Might have shown how it integrates with the Recruits mod that you can order a whole squad of soldiers to board or disboard a ship.
I'm using this mod along with Workers and Recruits. Just last night I used a Brigg to transport my troops, geared in Epic Knights armour, to attack a Lightning Dragon added through Ice and Fire.
@@schillo_2242 regrettably I don't think you can if they're in another ship. You can drag them with leads but it looks a bit odd. Those mods are always being worked on though, so maybe in the future they'll add that feature.
I wish mojang would take note and add more and larger vanilla boat types. Instead, they reduced the size of oceans years ago instead of adding mechanics to take advantage of the huge oceans we used to have. Now the oceans act more like large lakes. Oh well.
I am begging and praying this becomes an Add On for Bedrock, not only would it be awesome, but it wouldn't even mess with the lore since we see shipwrecks _all the time_
I haven't watched the video yet, but I already want to thank you for once again showcasing one of talhanation's mods! They still have so much potential and I deeply appreciate you giving them a platform
Loved the video @Noxus! Can't wait for the next video man! For those who may be wondering, The Small Ships Mod is made by Talhanation, who also made the Recruit Villagers and Villager Workers Mods. Hearing that there will be more Ship Types and other Features with the Mod in Future Updates is really great Because you won't be limited to just the Current set of Ships. Talhanation also made his mods to be able to use them with mods like Biomes O Plenty and Oh The Biomes You'll Go. I hope we Get Ships like the Caravel's, Snow-Brig's, Sloop's-of-War, Ketch's and even Schooners, Frigates and Great Frigates in these updates as well because there is a Lot of Potential with all of these Mods. And if you want to build Bigger Ships, Then you can Build a Shipyard and a Harbor with some Docks to your own Liking and use the Create and Valkyrien Skies Mods to Build up your Navy or Merchant Fleets. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!
Improvement suggestions: 1. Flags should generally point in the direction of sailing. 2. The galley should have 1 or 2 cannons mounted in front facing in the direction of sailing.
that's great man. this is gonna be Minecraft: Black Flag. but i would like to see more structures to attack near sea such as castles or over sea villages etc. and maybe also some tweaks to the world generation so we have more sea to roam
Honestly I love this so much, my own """complaint""" is that they aren't like 50% bigger. Really that's more a pet peeve and even then I don't even care
This is a cool mod, i have always like the nomad game style. I hope we get a large galleon soon. Where we have have beds furnaces and crafting tables etc on board. Would be cool to have a moving base then pulling your smaller exploring baot behind you!
This is my favorite minecraft mod. Sometimes you can walk through the extreme ends of the ship and fall into the water. Slightly larger ships and the ability to add blocks will be a welcome addition.
I'm excited for the upcoming 2.1.0 update. It'll add a Dockyard block that replaces the basic Ship crafting with an assembly system. It's also a Villager job site block, which's icing on the cake.
A realistic Galley would have had its cannons pointing forward. The custom of having side-pointing cannons came later, as the Galley is from the middle ages.
There's a few things that could be improved (using it in 1.19.2 for a while now). -the boat doesn't steer from the rudder -you can't walk all over the boat, there's only a small section that's solid -while in 3rd person, i wish you had more freedom to look around -when you load the boat, i wish it had a realistic feel, not just speed slowed down, but also the boat sitting slightly lower in the water and (like in the horse cart mod, where adding things would show them as blocks in the cart) the same would happen in this, where adding things to the boat's inventory, would show the boat loaded with items. It would also become top heavy and moving too abruptly should introduce capsizing (and thus dumping all that load). A visual idea to how this would behave and look, would be in the movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" at about 1.13.27 (time) where the sloop (i believe) has become really easily tipped under the load of the gold coffers. Adding more weight should also make the boat rock more side to side. -i think there's too many cannons per boat. I mean, i get that it's a miniature mod, but that many cannons would either rip apart a normal boat or sink it. I personally think that one cannon per side + the ability to aim, would be better. But i can see why this wouldn't be a popular idea. -the oars should be either removable (and appear only when the stations are manned) or easily stowed on the deck (by right click). The viking ship could be utilized by a single person (in theory - i think someone did an experiment with a faithful recreation of one and proved it doable). -more ship types of the vintage variety. There's quite a few out there. Either way, very cool mod that works perfect with mods where the world creation is altered and you have more rivers and seas rather than large (stupid) oceans. Taking one of these boats down a mountain river path is great.
- When you add items into the boat, chests and barrels and stuff are actually rendered onto the boat, just like in the horse cart mod, showing the boat loaded with items. - You can aim the cannons. - The longship is indeed usable by a single person. - "vintage" variety? I'm pretty sure there is no such category of ship.
I'd like some further information on the controls for the Cogs, as I'm currently using the Prominence mod, and the sails won't operate. Any advice or tips?
why wont the crafting recipes show up? i have the mod installed, but nothing involving the mod will show up. (i also have a few of your other mods, like the villager workers and soldiers mods and they are working fine)
I wonder if i can setup trade routes with them in the future. Combining this mod, little logistics & create trains is gonna be awesome Sadly the tugs of little logistics path finding gets messed up with small ships but still worth it
One of the alltime greatest mods. Might have shown how it integrates with the Recruits mod that you can order a whole squad of soldiers to board or disboard a ship.
It was shown in his Villager Recruits video from a year ago.
I hope they think of adding some sort of Pirate Base, like the Pillager outpost
It’s planned I thjnk
genius
Sea Pillager 😂
I'm using this mod along with Workers and Recruits. Just last night I used a Brigg to transport my troops, geared in Epic Knights armour, to attack a Lightning Dragon added through Ice and Fire.
Bruh you're here making a mercenary company to hunt down dragon's
That is so cool!
Was planing the same but ice and fire mod fucks op my cpu
It's not clear to me how I can make them follow me with ships
@@schillo_2242 regrettably I don't think you can if they're in another ship. You can drag them with leads but it looks a bit odd. Those mods are always being worked on though, so maybe in the future they'll add that feature.

Wait they actually reduced ocean sizes? That's so dumb
They were way too big(would be better if they were tbh) @KazehareRaiden
Skull & Bones: Flops
Minecraft Modders: "Fine, I’ll do it myself…"
1:27 missed opportunity to make the cannons face forward
The relaxing way this guy talks make me think of Bob Ross showcasing Minecraft mods "Today we're going to look at some happy little mods"
This mod is compatible with the physics mod that adds ocean physics, i cannot understate how cool that makes this mod! It's piratecraft time
I am begging and praying this becomes an Add On for Bedrock, not only would it be awesome, but it wouldn't even mess with the lore since we see shipwrecks _all the time_
I would kill for a bedrock mod like this one
Now I have only two mods on java that I would love to see on bedrock, distant horizons and this would be epic
addon makers prob can't code something this complicated yet
@@commenter648 give them time.....
lol you have to pay for mods, bugrock
"The small ships mod will introduce large ships"
THEY LIED TO US!
I haven't watched the video yet, but I already want to thank you for once again showcasing one of talhanation's mods! They still have so much potential and I deeply appreciate you giving them a platform

Ive been playing with this mod for a few weeks and it has become one of my favorite mods
2:55 you can also use a lead directly on it or you have a leashed entity, you can walk it across (like you'd do in a normal boat).
I love it ! I only play single player, but it's very cool anyways. Sailing through ocean is so cool with this mod. Thanks for the great work !
Improvement suggestions:
1. Flags should generally point in the direction of sailing.
2. The galley should have 1 or 2 cannons mounted in front facing in the direction of sailing.
A small ships showcase ? nice !
This is actually sick. It just slots into vanilla so well
Nice mod. I'm gonna try it out later
This is mod SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER ONES! 😍😍😍
This is the exact mod that ive been wanting since 2012! I cant wait for the pirates.
Looks really cool, especially for such a simple mod. The same level as mr.crayfish vehicle mod.
that's great man. this is gonna be Minecraft: Black Flag. but i would like to see more structures to attack near sea such as castles or over sea villages etc. and maybe also some tweaks to the world generation so we have more sea to roam
One of the bests mods that i have ever see , thanks for share it!
i like ur video ideas. its fits me so good and ur introduction style is good too. following 👌
A small showcase for some small ships!
This mod is so cool it made me install Minecraft again, I love mods/add-ons that are medieval and old guns and cannons
Honestly I love this so much, my own """complaint""" is that they aren't like 50% bigger.
Really that's more a pet peeve and even then I don't even care
Loved this mod, I installed it just by chance and it was something that minecraft has been lacking for a long time
This is a cool mod, i have always like the nomad game style.
Just simply one of the greatest mods ever made, i have it in every modpack just because i love the customisation possibilities its awsome
Thanks for this crazy good mod!
Fun fact: galleys of 16-17 centuries had a two cannons in the front.
I'm excited for the upcoming 2.1.0 update. It'll add a Dockyard block that replaces the basic Ship crafting with an assembly system. It's also a Villager job site block, which's icing on the cake.
How do you pick them up? or at least destroy them? Maybe I'm just not doing it right, but I haven't been able to figure out how.
shift+right click with an axe in your hands
Great mod and amazing "tutorial". Thank you very much for uploading such a useful and helpful video.
Great mod and great video! Also, can you do a showcase on "Dawncraft"?
0:24 It seems like there are actually four: the cog, the brig, the galley and the drakkar.
This reminds me heavily of the small boats mod for 1.7.10.
I definitely have to add this to my next mod pack.
A realistic Galley would have had its cannons pointing forward. The custom of having side-pointing cannons came later, as the Galley is from the middle ages.
there’s a lot to “sea,” i sea what you did there ;)
I hope they will add bigger ships like a ship of the line or a frigate! That would be really cool to play around with
Could you please reintroduce mod L_Ender's Cataclysm as many new and confusing things have been added to it.
2:30 Press R
this is actually crazy for large mp servers
Ish should allow this mod in his Minecraft servers. Imagine seeing a group of Viking ships heading to your island on the final day?!!!
Sounds like a very cool mod!
Can’t wait to see a big galleon for ocean biomes
I hope this comes to the marketplace
Would you mind doing a Doggy Talents Next showcase? I haven’t found any updated showcases.
look, im just happy i can now broadside a sea side village
Vehicle mods are just so damn cute.
It would be cool if they added paddle wheel sail ships / screw sloops. Basically a sail ship with a little coal filed steam engine
It seems that the 3D models of the ships have improved

Pair this with fire and ice mod and the seas become challenging, also perfect with the unwrecked ships mod.
Now someone just needs to make an airship version of this
what shaders do u use for the cannons to be visable
This and the Physics mod have made me want to make a pirate themed world
Are there plans to add the mod for older versions of the game?
I'd like some further information on the controls for the Cogs, as I'm currently using the Prominence mod, and the sails won't operate. Any advice or tips?
If wanted to play this mod for so many years!
It only lets me craft the drakkar in a crafting table it doesn’t let me get in in creative
This has been fixed in the newest update :)
Oh ok thanks
Does anyone else fall off the boats when going to the front or back of the ship? Seems like the hitbox doesn’t properly fit the visuals
The sails and cannons don't look vanilla enough, maybe make the cannons have the texture of an anvil and make the sails less round.
Please a showcase of Dawn Era mod
Baby wake up, new Noxus just dropped
why wont the crafting recipes show up? i have the mod installed, but nothing involving the mod will show up. (i also have a few of your other mods, like the villager workers and soldiers mods and they are working fine)
I wish that if you had Supplementaries installed the Flags could be used as flags instead of banners.
This should be something they added to the game period
best used with the physics pro mod
I wonder if i can setup trade routes with them in the future. Combining this mod, little logistics & create trains is gonna be awesome
Sadly the tugs of little logistics path finding gets messed up with small ships but still worth it
It works with the villager workers mod to set up trade routes.
I try to destroy the ships by left cliking but it doesnt work. I spam it and it still does not work.
Thanks dude, you are the best, please let's get this man to 1M subs
Do you think it would be possible to make a mod where you can build your own ships with real blocks?
I use this mod in a survival multiplayer world with recruits mod too, it's a very awesome mode
It would be cool if certain ocean biomes had sharks, whales, etc.
I want enemy's on ships. Imagine pirates on ships in sea
I always use this mod one of the best mods for every mod pack and vanilla style my favorite ones for enslaving villagers with carryon mod
Definitely need this in MCPE.
Willing to pay at maximum $10. 👌🏽
I wish this was in the official game, that would be awesome!
Can you take the ships back after putting them on sea?
Could you pls showcase weapon master, it lets you create your own weapon
how do you despawn a ship?
You dont
Can You Pick up the boat once you ut it down????
the mod wont work. when i install small ships it shows up when i click mods but when i load in game its not there
How do i get horses off my ship? when i right click the horse, it just mounts me on the horse.
Finally, I can now play Minecraft Black flag edition!
this mod needs ship types from Sid meiers pirates 2004 game (the best game about pirates) :)
Did I hear there will be pillager pirates?
i personally don't like how the cannons look, or the sails, they don't fit minecraft vanilla, but the rest is pretty cool
how incredible is that
Does this mod require a lot of performance on a server? I would like to use it together with the Better Minecraft mod pack
its pretty performance friendly so far
They should add a trireme as well.
How you get your army to sail?
Java or bedrock?
Something I hate is every time you swim about a chaclot from Alex mobs, kills you
Can the bigger ships go through the ice?
this mod is so cool
if this can be mod to any one piece mod pack, that wil complete the whole universe for me
