@@whynot-ct6in Good depends on ur opinion of what good is. 64 players in each div. Wirtual usually div1 but also div2. There are 40+ divs usually. The people that drives the best lines will usually be in 1-2.

I started playing this game recently because of these videos. Its actually hard AF to get fast fast and you have to play a track over over over again and then over and over again..

he was actually wrong about the line though, he spectates the two runs against each other later where he actually gains in every other section on the map, except for that line.
@@GizmoTheViking He did not do the line in the final attempt though, he went more for Leo line which is kind of ironic. The fast line is full-banking one which seems to be impossible due to the bump.
If the "best line" makes your car flip, I think that disqualifies it.

No joke, that open dirt punishment is really fun. That tightrope over maintaining the gear or ruining your run made the map way more memorable.
I kind of wish more maps had "skill checks" or death conditions like that. I think it'd have helped if something like that happened earlier though, like 20 seconds in rather than 40.
Yeah, doing that quite late on a 56 second long track is brutal
The problem with that so-called "skill check" on maji's track is that it forces you off the natural line into an awkward and technically inferior racing line. Obstacles forcing extra precision can be a fun extra challenge but in this case it felt a bit unnecessary there

joke's on you, the line that the WR drove through that one corner with a double apex is a line drivers use irl in certain cars (usually low grip, high power cars where you dont have the grip to accelerate while still turning so you brake late, hit first apex, then rotate the car mid corner and rocket out in a straighter line on the exit. It is also used in Formula 1 racing in certain corners like luffield on Silverstone, the track where the British GP is hosted and rivaje (a.k.a. bruxelles) corner on Spa-Francorchamps, the track where Belgian GP is hosted. Both those corners induce massive understeer in your car so that line is actually faster than the geometric racing line.
Bikes do it too. In certain corners depending on your bike as well, it better to kick the rear and "drift" going in the corner to have the bike in a better position to accelerate in the exit rather than going for full lean and the racing line

So the Rasitas laugh is from the TMNF all tracks no crash challenge where he had a mod where it would play exactly this every time he collided with the map (landing bugs would trigger it too)

I see her thought process with that gap but that can only happen if you‘re not a top tier driver. You have to understand the best racing lines and gears first to become a really good mapper. But I think she can get there if she really tries which would be great to see! 😊

I made a hellfire of a track in tm turbo, i am yet to validate it. But if you get each checkpoint first try itll take about 2:45....i spent 20 minutes trying to validate and couldn't get to checkpoint 3 of 9

Isent it possible to do a shortcut after checkpoint 2 to jump off the left and land on the track jsut before checkpoint 3? i feel like that saves like 3 sec.

Throws me back to a dirt cotd a few months back. Had the exact same bump leading into a long right uphill where you could've perfectly pushed the outside. If the bump was not there. I'd really like to know what's going on inside those mappers heads.
Tracks aren't always meant to be easy. Sometimes it's fun to add those punishing blocks.
Honestly, as someone that is in the bottom 50% of players I often think this but then I watch the GPS and see that if you go faster it actually makes sense. E.g. in this video @ 1:47 where a bit more speed makes the landing from the jump smoother.
Or more commonly, once I get faster on a map it gets even harder.

I played Nations when it first came out and play a bit of stadium occasionally. Which is the issue, I'm not spending enough time to get good at the game.
Ice is like all surfaces, it's just practice. But also Mika etc are actually insane....
