If you request a driver to do something or get something- we do not see that request until after we have picked up the order and usually already on our way to you. (It’s on a different screen) Also we aren’t supposed to go through the bag to make sure you have your whole order. I know it’s frustrating though!

Just wanted to point out that statistically, more often than not, it’s someone you know who will drug your drink. So I think that him doing that with the candy really brings awareness to just how easy it is and to always be aware of your drink when around other people, no matter how well you know them.

PSA: keeping your drink in your hands at all times is not enough. I never let my drink out of my hand, ended up with a glass that had been spiked ahead of time. Sometimes the bartender is in on it, or the person doing it sneaks in and spikes several glasses at random (before the drinks are even made) and then watches/waits like a literal predator to see who gets messed up. It happened to me, luckily I was with very trusted friends and so whoever did it never got an opportunity. But they likely had multiple potential victims that night.

I think what they’re talking about is that it has to be in a clear bag separate from the rest of your luggage which is odd. All of America also follows 100ml it’s just that it has to be in a separate container that’s see through
Okay as a previous doordash driver, if the order is wrong it’s usually the store employees that messed it up. Usually the bags are sealed so you can’t even check 😢 but no excuse for no straw and no hot sauce that’s unforgivable 😅 ❤

It's not just Heathrow, I live in Europe and you have to do it at all the airports though as of June 2024 I believe UK is no longer doing that. I think it's either EU or some other type of regulatory requirement

What if the people that you’re bitching about happened to have this particular instance, be there first or one or two times that it’s happened to them? In AZ Uber eats and door dash deliveries leave the food at the door since your message many times and cans we gHer drivers map location at all times. Also, the driver is not allowed to open the bags of food so if an order is wrong, it’s the establishment to blame. Also, a lot of food delivery places have a driver and passenger that drops the food so it may not be the same person . A lot of couples deliver together so it’s more fun. While only one person can legally be paid for, and be signed up for the deliveries, a lot of couples split the earnings, or are already sharing income anyways, and find it a way to hang out and make money together. Consider this before complaining and freaking out.

Typically for delivery items the bags are sealed by the restaurant, so the drivers do not break the seal to check the order as it could be seen as them opening the bag to steal items. They check the name/order number to make sure its for the right person, but if your order is messed up I would blame the restaurant not the driver.
On the issues of having liquids and gels on international flights, Australia also restricts the quantities of liquids and gels in carry on luggage. It’s an anti-terrorism measure. We don’t make passengers take off their shoes when going through airport security. Each country has their own rules. It sucks when you get someone who isn’t helpful but at the same time, it’s their job to apply the rules to everyone.
I would rather deal with a Bear only because I live in Tahoe and I see bears all the time. I don’t want to have to unalive a male, I am not the one! 🤨😆
I doordash and I can tell you from my experience it is the restaurant especially Taco Bell sometimes the workers are so dumb I'll even ask them is this everything does it have a straw did you get the sauce and I'll be like yeah but the bag is taped close all you can go off of is what it says on the receipt also sometimes my husband will DoorDash for me to make me some extra money when he gets off work so I can speak for men delivering under women's names

UK airports are nuts... Manchester airport is literal hell on earth. They are sooooo strict. Last time I flew out of there, they hand checked my bags 9 times, I was furious and wanted to know what they were looking for but they would not let me touch anything. They fondled LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE ITEM, made me throw out all the lip glosses and items I had that could not fit into the plastic bag stating if it can be melted down it is considered a liquid.... WUT. So you mean, my plastic suitcase is a liquid now too? There was an Irish guy next to me going mental because they were checking his bag for the 15th time, had been there for some time and was looking to miss his flight. But like my bags, there was nothing and they found nothing on him. It was purely a power trip
Okay SOO first I have only done the try to jump the line once on a plane I had to go to the bathroom sooo bad and I was of course in the middle of the plane UGH. Also I hate flying I will choose the road trip over the flight most of the time. And OMG the voice note thing I almost did it like 4 times last weekend!!! LIKE WHY DOES MY PHONE HATE ME!!!
I've only had to do three connecting flights through that airport and have had my luggage lost each time. I've since learned to always carry with me at least two days worth of clothing

Regarding DoorDash and postmates, it’s the restaurant’s fault usually. The restaurant prepares the to go bag and DD just grabs it. Also, same with always a woman’s name that says it will deliver! I’m like, sweet I don’t have to wear a bra and here comes a man! I doordash too much too and have made so many scenes hahah!

So interesting you mention this because so many of my dashers have a female name and show up as a woman and bang on the door over and over. I tell them to leave it at the door and one guy stayed in my apartment hall for an hour right outside the door. Literally wouldn’t leave and scared me to death. Try taking Airborne Immune support, or a similar product before you fly. I always got some upper respiratory problem when I traveled, but this stuff worked for me.
I’m so irritated with you both in this episode, ur door dash driver can’t open ur bag to check if ur order is right. That would mean they would have to unseal your bag of food.:: open up each item of food to make sure ur taco doesn’t have lettuce on it if that’s what you ordered, all we as drivers do is check the name on the bag & order number, I will make sure if they ordered a drink that I get the drink, besides that i can’t open ur bag of food. So this is really disheartening listen to you both think that the Delievery driver is responsible bc a taco is not there. Door dash has strict rules that we are to never open your bag of food. Please be more mindful these people r trying to pay their bills, do not blame them for a restaurants mess up.

This is about the airplane boarding topics. You guys all say that you’ve had one or two times where you were late and had to board late. What if the people that you’re bitching about happened to have this particular instance, be there first or one or two times that it’s happened to them? Is it how come I feel like all of you ladies are speaking out of one side of your mouth. Bad for THEE, but not for ME. I’m sure other people were frustrated when you decided to born late if those kind of situations ever happened to you. This is how come the world is so fucked up and people don’t like each other. In AZ Uber eats and door dash deliveries leave the food at the door since your message many times and cans we gHer drivers map location at all times. Also, the driver is not allowed to open the bags of food so if an order is wrong, it’s the establishment to blame. Also, a lot of food delivery places have a driver and passenger that drops the food so it may not be the same person . A lot of couples deliver together so it’s more fun. While only one person can legally be paid for, and be signed up for the deliveries, a lot of couples split the earnings, or are already sharing income anyways, and find it a way to hang out and make money together. Consider this before complaining and freaking out.

Typically for delivery items the bags are sealed by the restaurant, so the drivers do not break the seal to check the order as it could be seen as them opening the bag to steal items. They check the name/order number to make sure its for the right person, but if your order is messed up I would blame the restaurant not the driver.

As a doordasher it’s the restaurant because most of the time the orders are premade 99% of the time they hand the bag over and we just deliver

On the issues of having liquids and gels on international flights, Australia also restricts the quantities of liquids and gels in carry on luggage. It’s an anti-terrorism measure. We don’t make passengers take off their shoes when going through airport security. Each country has their own rules. It sucks when you get someone who isn’t helpful but at the same time, it’s their job to apply the rules to everyone.
I would rather deal with a Bear only because I live in Tahoe and I see bears all the time. I don’t want to have to unalive a male, I am not the one! 🤨😆

I doordash and I can tell you from my experience it is the restaurant especially Taco Bell sometimes the workers are so dumb I'll even ask them is this everything does it have a straw did you get the sauce and I'll be like yeah but the bag is taped close all you can go off of is what it says on the receipt also sometimes my husband will DoorDash for me to make me some extra money when he gets off work so I can speak for men delivering under women's names
I used to take my husband with me and he would be the one to get out to deliver the food. It’s not safe anywhere out here for women who are alone.

UK airports are nuts... Manchester airport is literal hell on earth. They are sooooo strict. Last time I flew out of there, they hand checked my bags 9 times, I was furious and wanted to know what they were looking for but they would not let me touch anything. They fondled LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE ITEM, made me throw out all the lip glosses and items I had that could not fit into the plastic bag stating if it can be melted down it is considered a liquid.... WUT. So you mean, my plastic suitcase is a liquid now too? There was an Irish guy next to me going mental because they were checking his bag for the 15th time, had been there for some time and was looking to miss his flight. But like my bags, there was nothing and they found nothing on him. It was purely a power trip
Okay SOO first I have only done the try to jump the line once on a plane I had to go to the bathroom sooo bad and I was of course in the middle of the plane UGH. Also I hate flying I will choose the road trip over the flight most of the time. And OMG the voice note thing I almost did it like 4 times last weekend!!! LIKE WHY DOES MY PHONE HATE ME!!!

Regarding DoorDash and postmates, it’s the restaurant’s fault usually. The restaurant prepares the to go bag and DD just grabs it.
Also, same with always a woman’s name that says it will deliver! I’m like, sweet I don’t have to wear a bra and here comes a man! I doordash too much too and have made so many scenes hahah!

Two reasons I’m rolling in 5 min before takeoff. First I had a connecting flight and second I’m always the last boarding zone / group .
So interesting you mention this because so many of my dashers have a female name and show up as a woman and bang on the door over and over. I tell them to leave it at the door and one guy stayed in my apartment hall for an hour right outside the door. Literally wouldn’t leave and scared me to death. I always get people pounding on the door and they won’t leave

Ever since 2020 the biggest piece of plane etiquette to me is for people to wear a mask when they're not eating and drinking. I am so tired of getting sick when I fly! Keep germs to yourself everybody thank you
Try taking Airborne Immune support, or a similar product before you fly. I always got some upper respiratory problem when I traveled, but this stuff worked for me.
Maybe you getting sick every time is more of a you problem, and less everyone else

I’m so irritated with you both in this episode, ur door dash driver can’t open ur bag to check if ur order is right. That would mean they would have to unseal your bag of food.:: open up each item of food to make sure ur taco doesn’t have lettuce on it if that’s what you ordered, all we as drivers do is check the name on the bag & order number, I will make sure if they ordered a drink that I get the drink, besides that i can’t open ur bag of food. So this is really disheartening listen to you both think that the Delievery driver is responsible bc a taco is not there. Door dash has strict rules that we are to never open your bag of food. Please be more mindful these people r trying to pay their bills, do not blame them for a restaurants mess up.
