Best show yet, love how the first theme represents the strange and alien that john encounters and they change to a more threatening theme to where things have gotten serious
Nice! In my opinion, Farscape is one of the greatest SF series ever made! The characters are very attaching with each having a great character, and make-up of aliens is well made, and it's universe is huge, smart and well done! ;)
Wow I had forgotten how great of a show this was...found it on netflix and was slowly catching up on the seasons but after the last couple days when I was knocked out with the flu I got to watch one whole season in a day and a half. I remember this ragtag group growing up and feel this (along with Firefly) was a series that never got to grow beyond it's potential
The most badass sci fi series ever made! Stargate may be worth watching but it can't compare to this, the scary alien yet so addicting & cool music.. the funny scenes, it's just unique, totally sends me into another world!
Cool idea putting them all together like that to see the progression :) I really liked the change to the second theme. When it gets all gentle and you see Chiana at the funeral. Perfect combination. Then it pumps up an you see all the action stuff. :) They got some great shots of Aeryn for her bits too. Awesome
James Gunn is a MASSIVE Farscape fan and basically used this show as the template for Guardians. I mean, Quill is basically John. The found family aspect, the earth references going over the aliens heads
@sourabhkarmakar8040 not entirely. They were definelty on the weirder side of marvel stories, and were much more "fun" than the more dark and gritty stuff in the 90s. Bur originally they were in the 31st century and basically were even more separate than they are in the MCU.
i miss this show so much, it was so cool, & Crichton was just simply THE coolest of them, but so was D'argo Aeryn Pa'u Zhaan & Chiana, i really can't decide from them!
Saw Ben's cameo on Chuck tonight. It was great to see him... but to see him reduced to that kind of role was a bit sad honestly. He was barely involved and limited lines. Farscape really deserved one more season to tie things up.
Does anyone else think of the Six Million Dollar Man when you see the close up of Crichton in his astronaut's helmet? There is a similar moment in that show's opening as well. lol
The second intro was the best. The negative ramifications of him coming home were kinda scary. What if the aliens found their way to earth and destroyed us. "If you can hear me, beware...if i make it back...Will they follow? If I open the door...BE READY! Earth is unprepared, helpless, for the nightmares I've seen...Or should I say? Protect my home and not show them what exists, but then you'll never know...the wonders I've seen!"
yes he did find his way home, but couldnt stay, every badguy in the universe was after him. and he left with everyone, in the peacekeeper wars miniseries aeryn gives birth to her a johns baby, dargo gets killed and life goes on
I never herd of Farscape until last year when I saw the SyFy 20th anniversary Special. But last night I saw my first episode on pivot channel. Now I wish SyFy would show this again.
The comics, written by the same writers and set post PKwars, cover this. Theres even leaked docs for a canceled MMO set after the comics...they planned really far in advance!
What I'm I imagining things or is this practically the story of buck Roger's lmao I'd have laughed my ass off if they left the audio for this but played Bucks intro track
Not sure that I've heard about Babylon... but Farscape... hell yeah!! Married with Children.. music, series, films, sports, cheap very good video games like SNes Contra, Amiga Lotus III(PC) less pollution in the air man the old times were so much better!
Funilly enough he wasn't in some far away part of the universe. He was rather close actually astronicly speaking that 60 light year disatnce is not much.
+Admiral Attila They didn't say 60 light years, just that the trip would take 60 years at maximum speed. The series implies that their ships use faster than light tech, though it doesn't go into details. Farscape was deliberately vague that way.
MegaBob452, it was deliberately vague, yes, but that's just so it couldn't contradict itself later. It's definitely one of my top 3 science fiction shows.
Man, the season 2 monologue sends shivers right up my spine.
Invokes the notion that John might never make it home. (Season 3 btw)
4 People will never know, the wonders I've seen...
5 now
6 now
7 now
Geoffrey,Bungle,Zippy and George!😊😄
I looked upwards and shared the wonders you saw...
Best show yet, love how the first theme represents the strange and alien that john encounters and they change to a more threatening theme to where things have gotten serious
First intro is the best in my opinion.

Loved the movie that tied up everything. I was so happy that they made it to tie up the show
The most badass sci fi series ever made!
Stargate may be worth watching but it can't compare to this, the scary alien yet so addicting & cool music.. the funny scenes, it's just unique, totally sends me into another world!
This and Babylon 5 are easily the two best Sci Fi shows of all time, by quite a margin.
Cool idea putting them all together like that to see the progression :)
I really liked the change to the second theme. When it gets all gentle and you see Chiana at the funeral. Perfect combination. Then it pumps up an you see all the action stuff. :)
They got some great shots of Aeryn for her bits too. Awesome
They really need to restart this franchise. The Nabari threat is still not answered.
A motion picture has just been announced.
thatguywiththeegg Really??? :O...
Excellent! Thanks Zilla the Fuzzball
Those were the people that liked to brainwash you into having happy thoughts all the time, right?
thatguywiththeegg awesome. I hope all the old actors come back for it
Who else wants to travel across the cosmos onboard the living spaceship moya from farscape?
Shivers!!! Damn, I really need to rewatch this whole series from start to finish!
The awesome moment when James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) is a huge fan of this show, so much so that Ben Browder cameos in GOTG2.
Telling my kids this was Guardians of the Galaxy
🤣 it was well Australian nature hippie version as it is
James Gunn is a MASSIVE Farscape fan and basically used this show as the template for Guardians. I mean, Quill is basically John. The found family aspect, the earth references going over the aliens heads
@@CascadianRanger so before Farscape and James Gunn, Guardians of the galaxy was not at all like this in the comics ❔
@sourabhkarmakar8040 not entirely. They were definelty on the weirder side of marvel stories, and were much more "fun" than the more dark and gritty stuff in the 90s. Bur originally they were in the 31st century and basically were even more separate than they are in the MCU.
Do it, it is better.
The first intro still gives me goosebumps!❤
I finished Farscape a couple days ago, I miss it already :(
Isn't it the most exciting and addicting tv series ever made ? :O
Veldrin on Mirror's Edge. Same. FARSCAPE #1, GOT#2, Star Trek (TOS, sttng) #3, the Matrix series #4.
Who else wants to travel onboard the living spaceship moya from farscape
Thank you so much for putting this up! The first intro brings back childhood memories. :)
I like the last intro it doesn't have a second voice. It shows that Crichton is no longer conflicted about what he wants.
Frandysworld, I just thought it was because he got cloned. The second voice was only in season 3, and for most of the season, he had the clone.
These intros still give me like, all the fucking chills. I really need to go back and watch this show again, been too long.
20 years old it is now OMG !!!!
I like the first theme because I like when the girl sings and has her solo part with the music in background
3 years ago? Shouldn't be 3 cycles ago? ;)
i miss this show so much, it was so cool, & Crichton was just simply THE coolest of them, but so was D'argo Aeryn Pa'u Zhaan & Chiana, i really can't decide from them!
Great openings, gave me goosepumps. Great hang it over the edge show. Hope we get more somehow, there are rumors of a film. Love Ben, Claudia and Co.
Greatest show ever the intros aired exactly like it did on the sci fi channel one of the greatest sci fi shows I love this show
i like the third opening. john and dargo have this cool slow walk that goes along with the music.
I like how he eventually calls them his friends.
Love this show I just got all the box sets and the minny series. This and supernatural are all I have been watching the last few months.
I think the first one's the best by far. It's so much more epic than the other two.
miss this series
But then you'll never know, the wonders I've seen...
Ah but you see I looked up.
I think Farscape is a cool show along with Babylon 5.
0:45. Intro to the first few episodes of Season 3 was the best, in my opinion. Epic, with credit given to full cast.
There is a similar moment in that show's opening as well. lol
Thanks for a reply. I'm sure you can check out Six Million Dollar Man's intro here on TH-cam. :)
Season 1 intro all the Galaxy around! Pure Epic!
Sparky!!
I miss this so much.
I did like the part when he returns to Earth and he is trying to explain that Earth is only likely to survive because its simply not worth invading.
Thanks. I'm watching the entire series now so I guess I'll find out everything in the end;)
Season 1 will always be special.
Oh i so miss this show.
Farscape was a truly great series. Sad it had to end before its time :-( Same goes with Firefly....I crave for more episodes or films
I always imagine a farscape star wars the clone wars crossover with barriss offee becoming part of the moya crew
Say if you could become a crewmember of moya or of the starship from firefly who wich one would you choose
True. The creator /main writer of Farscape has a new show called "Cult" just started though.
@Reytakang Also catch the bit that in the season 3 intro there are two Johns speaking in the intro :). I always thought he said "are you ready?"
I love this show so much
Jim Henson. From the Muppets to Farscape. Lets hope this sees a revival in years to come too
Omg, I loved this show but I never finished it. I need to.
My friends...
It is basically guardians of the galaxy in the 90s.
This came first even before the comic.
Dang I miss this show so much...
I was so sad when the canceled this show! =(
there are rumours of a farscape film!
Amy Betts Yay!!!
Amy Betts
yes it is hapening
jade taylor for realsies!?
yes he did find his way home, but couldnt stay, every badguy in the universe was after him. and he left with everyone, in the peacekeeper wars miniseries aeryn gives birth to her a johns baby, dargo gets killed and life goes on
Others are good by the first with its fragmented radio podcast theme is peak.
Who else want to travel across space as a member of the crew of moya from farscape as one of the main characters
The intro for the first two seasons was the best.
If you have ever seen the third season.. there are two john crichtons. The intro for it is appropriate :).
He really is; I don't know why we haven't seen him in more.
I never herd of Farscape until last year when I saw the SyFy 20th anniversary Special.
But last night I saw my first episode on pivot channel.
Now I wish SyFy would show this again.
It is free on four different streaming services.
I last saw it at Barnes & Noble half price on the complete series... think it was like 2 weeks ago.
The perfect series.
First intro, best one, takes everyone back ;(
funnest show with the best ending ever... no reboots.... let it live as epic as it was...
They show it on the pivot channel every week night at 10 and every Sunday they show three episodes from the past week.
lucky you! you still gota seeya the miniseries set after that. Earth is safe, but theres still a lot more to resolve.
The comics, written by the same writers and set post PKwars, cover this. Theres even leaked docs for a canceled MMO set after the comics...they planned really far in advance!
NOSTALGIA............OVERLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!!!!!!!11
If they were able to make another series of Farscape( I wish!) What would it be about?
I always imagine a farscape star wars the clone wars crossover with barriss offee becoming part of the moya crew
How true. The only ones that come close are "Fringe" and "Chuck"
Imagine a farscape star wars the clone wars crossover with barriss offee becoming part of the moya crew that would be awesome
(likes the Farscape horn almost as much as the Inception horn)
watching this from season 1 trough peacekeeper wars, almost finish second season
:D Babylon 5 was just so good, my best series ever, followed by Stargate, BSG, Dr Who and Farscape (in no set order, all are awesome)
The best sci-fi serirs i've ever seen!!!
Ok, Defiance is just out, and its by the same guy, and thats certainly sci-fi. :)
I want to see some modders pick up these series and make stuff from them. Sliders too.... Come on guys
The SCI FI channel needs to bring this show back
"Look upward and share the wonders I've seen" what is this, a Hallmark card? (Nothing beats the lean, mean intro of Season One)
@Sokar6186 I think the first season and second season are much more epic but less storyline
Fun show. What happened to all the sci fi on TV?
I like them all. But probably the third season best. I definately cant choose between songs :D
He was probably getting more and more depressed.
AN ASTRONAUT.
I just learned that they are on Netflix!!!
What I'm I imagining things or is this practically the story of buck Roger's lmao
I'd have laughed my ass off if they left the audio for this but played Bucks intro track
who can tell me the name of the song from trailer 2?
god i miss farscape :(
I wish I knew I'am still trying to find out
Just I noticed that Ben Browder's voice reminds to Peter Capaldi's voice?
Have you seen Babylon 5?
Great work, and thank you...though I feel compelled to point out the 2nd season "Let's stick Gigi Edgley in" variant...still, kudos!
Not sure that I've heard about Babylon... but Farscape... hell yeah!! Married with Children.. music, series, films, sports, cheap very good video games like SNes Contra, Amiga Lotus III(PC) less pollution in the air man the old times were so much better!
@Cachufis Typo. it happens.
Last I checked, it was on netflix if that helps =/
can any one give me a link to where i can see all of the Farscape episodes?
Do you have netflix? its on there.
Вот как ты звучал без перевода.
Funilly enough he wasn't in some far away part of the universe. He was rather close actually astronicly speaking that 60 light year disatnce is not much.

Season 4 intro just feels...empty. That huge gap after Wayne Pygram always bugs me when I watch an S4 ep.
It feels like a bad imitation of Season 3's intro. But Season 4 as a whole felt less epic compared to Season 4 if you ask me.
