I have never seen DWTS as a dance competition or a popularity contest. People vote on who they want to see learn a new dance and perform it.

Even if it was a real popularity vote, I would agree with the winner based on popularity. However many times I don’t even think the winner’s that were chosen by fans actually won. 100% feel this is totally the producers choice not the fans.

DWTS is an entertainment show not a ture dancing competition. That’s world championship dancing. DWTS is popularity contest

Totally agree! I’ve always thought that if they can keep a live running tally of dollars being donate at telethon, why couldn’t they keep a live running total of actual fan votes. I don’t believe fan votes are real, either. I think producers control who they want to win each season.😊
