Merle had probably the best band to ever back a country singer on stage.
They're great no doubt, but Hank Jr's original Bama Band may have that title. They actually had a record deal with Warner Brothers in the 80's.
Merle left us on his 81st birthday as he for told about a week before and the world lost a little something it had before when he went.
Merle was one the greats man. The shred it here.
