Yes I have a 2020 Softtail need to get a charger like that i do have that cable connection thanks for your help makes it so much easier to charge your bike
I appreciate the video man! I have a 21 Street bob and it’s sad the last month and I needed to find ways to charge it up. So hard to get access to jump start it.
How long did your battery last, 1-2 years? I've been riding more often, so not relying on the trickle too much, but will use it if sitting for more than a week or two. Take care!
@@julzzcan9490 - I bought the bike towards the end of 2021 and it still seems to be okay. I'm going to try keeping it on the trickle charger and see what I can get out of it. I've read that Lithium Batteries don't discharge like lead-acid batteries. So eventually I'll have to bite the bullet and pay the $250 it costs to buy one. Or maybe by the time I need one, the price will have come down.

Excellent, I've been riding mine more often to keep it charged too. Take care
Thanks man getting my softail tomorrow and I know it’s original battery, going to Walmart and pick up charger
Right on my man, safe riding, enjoy!!
It’s called a tender… for the technical term… but it sucks if have a bad battery and you need to change it
They do recommend you don’t use an extension chord. Messes with the amps
Agree, in this case, I was too far away from the wall with a dead battery, it worked, but probably best to eliminate the cords.
Thanks very much, very helpful😀

Thank you.
This happened to me it run. I took around the block and when I parked it. I wouldn't start.
That's really inconvenient to happen. I now keep the Tender on it 90% of the time, no issues since doing this!
Very helpful!! Thank You
I just had to charge my battery for the same reason. I bought an H-D trickle charger, and I had trouble finding the pigtail too.

Pigtails are awesome!
How do you replace a battery CAP on the charger? Mine got burned up, have a replacement cap but the O ring is so small?
Not sure, can you find a different O ring someplace, they sell packs of that. I'm curious about it now...
@@julzzcan9490 they are the same size. I’m thinking of oiling it up and see how it goes or zip tie it up
@@h.w.6481 Yeah, I would rig it somehow, or go buy a new charger, if you have to.
Oh, and get a little jump box
Thanks
i leave my pigtail hanging out lol
I dangled it behind a tube, and learned my lesson!
TH-cam ,look up your year and make model
Yeah, that's what people can do, I had the information, but didn't expect that to happen in a relatively new 2021, this happened in 2022. Take care
