- A Fat Wreck Chords release! Although he isn't on this record, Dave Raun had a huge influence on my playing. Derrick Plourde is on drums for this record.
Lagwagon's 'Mr Coffee' from their 1992 release 'Duh' is copyrighted property of it's owner(s).
Jesus dude, note perfect! And considering how much of a beast Derrick was, that's no small feat. Great job!
A true tribute to Mr Derrick , well done :) keep it up
My exact thoughts ;) and that snare sound is 🔥
Holy Fuk...doing my favorite band and drummer going up true justice! INSTANT FAN
Holy shit dude that was extremely clean, nice work!
Awesome!!! More Derrick Plourde Covers Please
Way to kill it dude. I'm gonna have to give it a go now. Nice job from a fellow drummer.
you've got some unreal bass pedal speed, man
thanks bruh
🎶Unreal pedal speed, the american way ☕
Great👌
that snare sound
Well if that doesn't just make you smile from start to finish then you need a coffee!
you handled that incredibly well. way sick. please cover more lagwagon- one of my all time faves and a huge influence on me musically as well. the HH and kick part during the bridge- 'drinking coffee- i drink coffee- drinking coffee everyday,'- is so dope. i remember being so impressed by that part especially bc of his kick and HH control during his open-close HH and kick grooves while the vocals are saying, "daaaaaayyyyy'. i mean, the whole song is a punk drummer's paradise, but that part was really an ear pricker. i am always stoked on your covers. keep killing it!
the Live Kennedys, SD, California Yeah they're a great band! When I first started playing I was so into playing songs the exact was the drummer played it on whatever track and I got so many different playing styles that was and this track was my favourite to play because of all the different parts. Thanks man!
this was the first or second song that i ever heard from them. i had the first fat music VA release and i am pretty sure that 'mr. coffee' came after 'know it all' on the album. anyway, i was immediately in love with everything about the song, but especially the drums. it made me want to learn drums. i wish that i could send pics bc the lyrics even made it into this big report that all 8th graders had to do at my school. the report was about your life up to that point- 13 and 14 year olds. there's more to the story, but the short version is that i love that band so much, but that particular song sort of started it all and was a song that really inspired my love for the drums. great cover. move to san diego already. hahaha
Killed it!!!
Great!!!
Good job man !!! 👍
Lagwagon!! Awsome ♥
Pancho Frusciante of course
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it up man. More Lagwagon and maybe The Vandals.
Wow!

Sooooooooo Good!
thanks bruh
do more laggers covers plz!
Dude will you please cover some RKL!!
dude, you're fucking amazing and i'm a (bad) drummer and I really enjoy watching those kind of vids...please do some more. You got that technique from Derrick Plourde and also the sound!
Thanks man, yeah Derrick and Dave are big influences on my drumming
Very good dude
Very kind dude
Any chance any of these drum covers are available without the music in the background? I'm a guitar/bass player who is just now learning recording (Reaper) and having some of your drum tracks to practice with would make the learning experience more fun. Lagwagon, Nofx, and NUFAN drum tracks are a lot harder to find than a band like Metallica or something.
Omg
Great job !!! Do you have a band ?
What do you put in your bass drum to make it so "thuddy"? Also what pedal do you use?
Make "Coffee Mug" drum cover please!
Eddie Cornell He did.
Jordan H Link
Awesome!
