The colors are brilliant, and the bookmarks are gorgeous! Thanks!❤
Glad you like them!
These thick‘bookmarks’ could make the danglers in the centre of windchimes. ❣️🌹
Oh yes!
Absolutely love the blue and white book mark ❤
Thanks, I was rather pleased with that one too :)
I can't believe how much detail she got into those inlays! Absolutely gorgeous! Your bookmarks turned out so lovely. The glittery one is my favourite. 🌸
So glad you like them. Those inlays have so many possibilities, I hope this gave people some ideas
I love the splotchy look from the white on the last bookmark. It looks like spilt paint
Glad you like it :)
Gorgeous inlays from Ms Wendy😍💜💜.All the colors too are beautiful 😍 and I love those bookmarks and bottle openers with those inlays impressions 💜💜💜💜
Thank you so much 🤗
Brilliant inlays ,Ms Tracey 😍💜.Your project was sooooo amazing with these, love all the bookmarks, bottle openers, the colors that you used are also beautiful 😍😍😍
Thanks Sudha. I just love the stuff Toonpish stock lately. Amazing stuff
Boy she does make some nice inlays. Silk screening powders, genius. I had no idea that would work, and it worked great. 😊
She does. No I didn;'t think it would work either, I did't think even these extra fine ones would go through the mesh. I was so pleased they did
Those are cute inlays I love toonpish. Thanks for sharing you ideas. Nice outcome. Just my 1 cent
Glad you like them!
Make the little bottle into a magnet ❤
Ah yes good idea
Absolutely love your videos ❤❤❤❤
Glad you like them!
Gorgeous 😍
Nice to see 😊❤
Eagerly waiting for the Collab ❤
Thank you so much 😄
Your pieces were really sweet and the variety of methods were inspiring. Thank you for sharing 🥰
You are so welcome!
Hi Tracey, I love how all of the pieces came out! The bottle openers are a great gift idea. I have used silkscreen with paint on resin, but never chameleon powders. I definitely want to try this with chameleon powder now. ❤
Glad you like them. Yes I was surprised that powder was fine enough to go through the screen. I'll try it with another brand soon too
Hi Tracey great video those inlays are vety cute , love how the all turned out 😍 thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Thanks Michelle :)
These are lovely. Claire did a series on silk screens using powders. I don’t recall her using resin but she may have.
I don;t think she's done silkscreen with chameleon powders on resin, unless I missed a video somewhere. If anyone has it would be Claire
I missed the live chat 😢 they came out gorgeous. My fav is the translucent glitter one ❤❤❤
Aw we missed you Jelly 💕 glad you like them
These are all great..
I would use these as key rings for one key..like the gate or shed.
Easy to hang n find❤😊
Totally! Great idea
Love these, I’m planning my Christmas decorations around inserts. Wendy also got me hooked on tiny silicon inserts, I now have a wax stamp collection along with everything else 🤷🏾♀️🤣
lol me too, I've ended up with a box full as well :) They will be great for Christmas, i have some of Wendy's christmas ones too
I love the way all of these have come out! A word of warning though...don't use newspaper clippings without laminating them first. I found out the hard way that the ink runs like the devil! Thanks for another great video, Tracy!
Great tip!
I have this mould too, the openers came out well. I love the inlays, they are beautiful Tracey❤
Glad you like them! They are beautiful little inlays
I just love these, Tracey! So many ways you can use the inlays! I ordered 2 wolf sets for me & Apryl to save us on shipping lol, her idea!
Great idea!! Saves packing for Wendy too :)
Claire at Claire's Crafty Corner does a lot of silk screen resin projects too :)
Yes I said so in the video, and credited her for the inspiration. I don't think she's silk screened which chameleon powders onto resin though, I need to check
To avoid lumps in mica or any other pigment powders, a lot of folks put in some alcohol, pour in the powder, and mix it to a liquid before adding the resin. Much like mixing plaster of paris into water, a little bit at a time, so that it's nice and smooth, just a different medium 🙂
Yes, or make them into pigment paste first. However I rarely find it to be an issue with the better quality brand Micas :)
@@miniscenesgb I don't either. You can always put a super fine mesh or some footy nylons on the jars for the cheaper ones, and filter out any bumps that may be in there (use it like a shaker), but honestly, a little more stirring isn't that bad, lol. I have made pigment paste from concrete colorant, but never mica. I ought to try that.
Beautiful artwork. If you use a really fluffy makeup brush to put the mica on. It dosent get so patchy.
Yes I do that on some projects too :) It's a great tip
Lovely.. you gave me so many ideas
I'm so glad!
Make lovely mobile pieces.
Good idea :)
Those openers look great. Could uv the screws in also. Love those inlays. Awesome🥰.
Yes if you can get the uv light in to cure it you could. In the end we used superglue and 2 second activator
Lovely projects! Thanks so much 😊
Thank you! 😊 Glad you like them
Great video Tracey 🤩 some really nice gift idea's there 😄 Those inlays are awesome and on my list Lol😍
Thanks so much 😊 yes the tiny inlays are amazing
Everything turned out beautifully Tracey. The bookmark molds are always to thick in my opinion. I stopped making them because of that. I love Wendy's inlays and you did some beautiful things with them. I loved the silk screen idea to. If you drill a hole in the little bottle you can put it on your keyring.
Great idea! And yeh I think you're right about the bookmarks :(
Love the wolves! Have a set of Tiny Turner micas, they so awesome. Your video reminded me to get them out and play. So much fun, thank you.
Glad you like them! Have fun
Gorgeous, as always, so many different techniques. You could make the bookmarks into a wind chime esk piece xx
Great idea!
Idea for the bookmarks: build a box with them just fill the holes! Someone on the discord group told me to do that with the Domino's mold so I think that would be fantastic for these as well! My maiden name is Wolfe so I really enjoyed this! I want those inlays! Sorry you ripped a few trying to get them out! I usually rub mine with silicone oil then place them in and they come out beautifully usually then I clean off the inlay area with alcohol and dust it which I think the ones you did with the clear layer first came out best! I really like those apothecary bottles as well! Great video as always much love sweet girl 💞🤗🥰❣️
Great idea. No I didn't rip any of them. They are sturdier than they look
@@miniscenesgb oh it looked like you had ripped the little paw print ones and the one after but I'm guessing it was overpour you took off after removing them that's why I thought they had ripped!
@@cwv-artistry yes it was just a little overpour :) Also you can't put silicone oil on them if you have just coated them with chameleon powder the powder would come off and also not fix into the resin
@@miniscenesgb yeah I know honey I was saying I put oil on them not the micas then I let it cure, then remove ,clean the area, and than I dust. It may be a bit of overkill or more work than necessary but any inlay Ive ever used always has come away beautifully. Which I also use oil to adhere inlays to my molds to prevent overpour from happening but sometimes it works perfectly sometimes it doesn't.. I guess it really depends on the mold and inlay being used...
@@cwv-artistry yes, and what technique I'm demonstrating. this was other methods :)
They are incredible. Ive just found you, tou habe a new sub. Looking forward to seeing your new experiments. Big love from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
Welcome aboard!
@@miniscenesgb thank you 😁
I don't do bookmarks for exactly that.. But I would probably use them in the sides of trays, boxes, windows, wind chimes (they already have holes, lol) added to cards, use them as feet/stands for things.. You have all kinds of options :-)
Great ideas thank you
@@miniscenesgb Of course! Thank you for working so hard on these videos for us!
❤❤❤
😊
❤
Thank you @pammcmillan8842! I'm so glad you like this one
A mobile-type sun hanging with the bookmarks?
Good thought 😄
👌🏻😊
Thank you @LauraCastro-df1cn! I'm so glad you like this one
