hey dude thanks for the great videos, def help alot. i was wondering if perhaps you could do a more in depth guide. i know this genre tends to be a bit more simplistic but perhaps you could show some more intricate production techniques or ideas. thanks again cheers
Hey! Thank you for this great tutorial! I do, however, want to make a correction. The song is not in C major, it is actually in E minor-ish. E is clearly the root note. So this bass section you made - 1:09 - it's not 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, it is 6th, 7th, 1st, 3rd, 4th. And the F at 1:57 sounds so dissonant because it's actually not in E minor, F# is. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_minor Actually, F (or "minor second" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semitone ) is in E Phrygian scale. You can try making a melody with it! 😄Cheers!
Interesting but all the notes fit c major and it starts on the route note of c. Surely it’s just c major? You say the route note is e how did you get to this? Thanks, I hope you don’t take this as hostile I’m just interested to learn something new
@@maxkingsproductionhut all good!!! 🤝❤ So, about C major, the white keys/C major all "fit" here, except for F, as you noticed at 1:57. F# rolls better as it is the second step of E minor - E - F# - G - A - B - C - D - E. Furthermore, there's this scale that is played in pop music a lot - Minor Pentatonic. E Minor Pentatonic goes like this: E - G - A - B - D - E (without F# and C), works even better here. Notice how your bass line uses these exact notes. It has to be said that all this music theory is just a descriptive framework. You can try a super simple (and kinda dumb) trick to identify a root note in either Major or Minor (Ionian or Aeolian) scale - turn on a song and, like, if you hold literally one note while it's playing, and, if it sounds fine, very solid but kinda... boring(?) and calm-ish throughout, it is most likely the root note. Couple of examples: "Backseat" by Charli XCX is in F Major (mostly): F - G - A - Bb (black key to the left of B) - C - D - E - F "DArkSide" by Bring Me The Horizon is in E Minor (+ some "blue notes"): E - F# (black to the right of F) - G - A - B - C - D - E. Very common in rock music. This article has a basic rundown on most common scales in western music en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diatonic_scale
learn to use vital a little bit and you will be able to copy t using vital its basc the same plugin it has the same wave forms and everything is the same. or just search for a cracked version of serum
Cheers mate))) I love your creativity. Could you recreate track 25KV & Bradderz - Speed Garage (Paul Sirrell Remix) or Original mix... This track has a good vibe 😉.
Never heard probably 95% of the words and concepts in this video but really enjoyed it

"UK garage producer based out of Germany" is funny
What about sidechaining to your bass? Is it not needed or?
I normally add it but it didn’t need it on this remake so didn’t. Don’t fix what ain’t broken I guess 🤓
