- Today we have a Miss Earth 2022 Reaction to the Top 4 Question and Answer as well as the crowning moment. Just two days ago, Miss Earth Crowned their new titleholder for 2022 as well as three elemental queens. During the Question and Answer segemnt (Q and A) the Top 4 queens needed to answer the same question and associate it with their enviromental advocacy. This is my reaction and analysis of the Top 4 questions and answers during the Miss Earth 2022 Corornation Night moments before the crowning moment.

I believe Korea has the most sincere and out of the box answer. It captures my attention and makes sense to me.
Korea's answer was the best! Empathy is not kindness. Too often, people think that the kindness they show is empathy, when it is not. We need to be more empathetic to the people who have lost their properties, jobs, and loved ones from the devastating effects of climate change. A like for a post in social media on news of Cat 4/5 typhoons destroying lives, for example, is not ENOUGH. Furthermore, First world countries need to be more empathetic with developing nations in helping them to tide over and recover from the catastophic effects of climate change. Korea's answer is the most profound and she went to the root of the problem. Her answer encompasses the answers of the other 3. One needs critical thinking to understand her deep thoughts.

Korea gave the best answer. If we want to correct something about ourselves and about others, we need to be empathetic. ❤One will never understand the concern unless you put yourself in the same situation, or you yourself has accepted that you have something to do with it.
When Australia answered, I said she would win. Then Colombia, she did not answer impressively but still good, Palestine did great but went overtime but when Korea answered, I felt that she could still the thunder from Australia. Both Australia and Korea were both winners. A decimal point separated them both.

take Ms. Korea's answer in its entirety and perhaps, one would see, that she made the most sense. Her whole point was on the misconception of people regarding what empathy is (equated to kindness), and she wanted to correct that since empathy, for her, should be distinctly defined from what kindness is. not to mention her carefree yet sincere grip on the way she answered, that sealed the deal for me. if not her, then I would just go for Australia-- rooted, experiential, and organized well.
All top 4 finalists, all of them were aiming to get their first ever miss earth crown 👑. And fortunately it's miss Korea destiny to have that title.

I agree that the question could have been done better. I disagree anyhow on your point that Korea has the 2nd weakest answer Luis. For me, she has the best and most personal answer. She answered the question really out of the box about the misconception of Empathy and how it also affects all world issues not only climate issues. I'm very happy since Mina Sue Choi of Korea is my bet from the first time I saw her last mid October. She has been my Miss Earth 2022. By the way, manifesting you soon to be on the judges table. for answering QnA, it's obvious, korea gave the best answer. it's relevant because as we all know, in dealing with animal cruelty, we need empathy as well. and korea's answer is short and well explain in just short words
I have the same observation, the word "right" and "write" can be interchanged semantically with all the pressures and nervousness, this is such a tricky question. Good thing that Ms. Australia is a native speaker that it was easy for her to decode it quickly as it should be. The host was quick enough to clarify that is actually "right" as in "correct" which is actually a big help for the next 3 queens. However, Korea still nailed it in terms of content, fluidity, parallelism, emphasis, and conclusion within the timeframe.
Yes. I didn't expect Luis to not understand how profound yet fundamental her answer was to problems of society that directly and indirectly affect climate change.
Miss Korea Answer was the best . Very personal and natural . Not a pageant patty answer . thats why she won . Miss Australia answer was also good but she sounded unsure nervous . Palestine answers nice but too much may be got minus point . Colombia answer was just bunch of sentences shoved together.
Palestine definitely got deductions. She even reached second bell.

you are very right to mention the question delivered by the host, you are very right because every contestant has different interpretations on how they will understand the question, he should not be mixed with the question he has to read what is written on the que card very specifically, because that question will put the girls in danger to win or to lose... thanks louis

I don't think too that Korea's answer was the second weakest...I think it's the most sincere and not a pageant patty answer. She's super calm and eloquent. Just like what Luis said, she won it fair and square. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@@jaffechano8059 Korea meant, she can correct she thinks what's wrong in the planet by being empathetic. There may be a slight syntax error in the first part of her sentence, but us as viewers, can comprehend what she meant by being a little empathetic and forgiving maybe?
@@iceceestudio her answer was not really on point that was why Luis said that her answer was the 2nd weakest among the 4 candidates. lf you would really think it critically, the first phrase of her answer was incorrectly stated. The question being asked was that, " IF SHE HAS SOMETHING TO RIGHT OR TO CORRECT IN THE WORLD, WHAT WILL IT BE AND HOW WILL SHE RIGHT IT?.... Ms. Korea's first phrase was like, IF SHE WILL RIGHT SOMETHING IN THE WORLD IT IS BEING EMPATHETIC.....blah blah blah... and the first phrase of her answer was definitely wrong bcoz you cannot correct anyone who has a.positive characteristic of being emphatectic unless the people are discribed otherwise.
For me the best answer was from Ms. Palistine bcoz it was truly on point. Her first phrase was to fight ignorance blah blah blah which is definitely a negative characcteristic of the people in the world that need to ne corrected as far as mother earth is concerned. Though, the problem with Ms. Palistine was that she exceeded the allotted time in answering the question.
So, therefore, I would say that the.supposedly.last 2 women standing would be Palistine and Australia.
If I would b.asked who would have won the crown in a fair-square manner of judging, it would be ms. AUSTRALIA though her answer was just a second best compared to Palistine. Ms. Palistine should be on the first runner-up since she had a minus point by exceeding the time limit.

It is not all about sincerity, it is also about substance and precise response to the question being asked. Ms. Korea's first phrase of her response was wrong. Why? because she said that IF THERE IS SOMETHING THAT SHE HAS TO RIGHT.IN THE WORLD IT IS BEING EMPATHETIC... blah blah blah.... Being EMPATHETIC is a positive characteristic or value that we must have in ourselves. It is putting ourselves in the shoes of others.... So how could it be possible for you to right the right...or correct the correct??? The question was clearly asking the candidates to point out something that is negatively accustomed by the people in the world that directly or indirectly affect the mother earth. In ither words, those negative manners or attitudes that need to be corrected.
I would say, Ms. Palisrine was able to respond the.question precisely, better than Ms. AUSTRALIA, Though, she exceeded the time limit in answering the question. Therefore, the 2 last standing candidates should be MS. PALESTINE ands. AUSTRALIA....

When these four beautiful and intelligent ladies were called in the final 4, I am happy already to whoever gets the highest title. After they answered the question, I thought the last 2 will be Palestine and Korea. It was so hard, Australia is also amazing all throughout and consistent as well as Colombia. I love the reaction of Palestine when she was called Miss Earth Water, you can tell she is already happy.

The cutest part during the coronation were when Thailand crowned Miss Colombia and when Miss Australia hugged Miss Korea after the announcement and how happy Miss Palestine was with her placement...congrats ME and thanks Luis for sharing your thoughts...

Miss Australia's answer offered choice, but Korea's answer demanded action. See the difference? I dont understand why people didnt see that big difference, i mean come on! What happen to critical thinking?

Good results. My bet unfortunately bombed the q and a but still colombia WE LOVE YOU!!!!!! Prior to pageant night, i had it Colombia, Nigeria, Australia, and then Korea. I had Palestine in my top eight with the USA, Cuba, and Chile. I was surprised both USA and Chile did not make the top 20. I wonder what happened. But admittedly they both did not had the umph during the days and weeks prior to pageant night. Zimbabwe yes i got right and so happy that she got in together with Slovenia and Ethiopia and Namibia and Belgium. Strong African delegation this year. Actually a strong batch. I kept on changing my list of top contenders. Nigeria, yes, her light got dimmed and was overshadowed by the wonderful aura of Zimbabwe. I can't recall a year where it was this competitive. Maybe the time of Miss Czech Republic who i thought would be a runner-up based on her answer. Glad she won. Hmmmm ..... i think another tough year was when Brazil won it's first title. Hmmmm ..... i hope both Martinique and Tanzania, both runner-up finishes in the past would win this. As well as Poland and Japan. Colombia of course as well.

My comment comes in a good place. My #1 answer is Korea.
When come in a pageant like this you can always expect the answer like climate change, animal cruelty, man-made impacts and so on...
And for me its kinda boring.
I need answer like Korea did, because as ME and as Environmental Advocate you influence everyone to join you in your cause. I think thru Empathy not just forcing your opinion for advocating can encourage more people to join with your movement on any causes you wanna fight.
I do love Australia's answer but for me its very generic nothing so special about it.
For Palestine, i bet her answer was better than Australia. Because she was talking about her advocacy.
But she is not standing out in a pre-pageant activities. That's why Australia is the 1st runner because as what you've said she was being rewarded.

Colombia is the rightful winner but her down fall was the Q and A but I think she should speak her answer in SPANISH! maybe she is the winner.
I think Ms. Korea's answer is the best one. 2nd will be Miss Australia. Mina's answer isn't weak. She's answering it on a different yet non-conventional method. She's targeting a specific issue that needs to be highlighted which I believe address the question "what needs to be corrected". Sheridan's answer was great, but I think it isn't on par with Mina's answer which discussed the whys and hows of it.
Colombia's hand gesture instead of verbally saying "please repeat..." did it for her....over-confidence was just soooooo...

If I were to based on Q&A, my winner is Palestine. However, Im so happy for Ms.Korea. She has been so consistent during the pageant.
The question for me was tricky. I feel sad for Ms. Colombia.
I would still prefer to see & hear more of Andrea in the future.

I don't think korea's answer is 2nd weakest. her answer is the most sincere and personal among the four and she didn't forcedly insert environment thing just to be relevant to miss earth but she just answered the question according to what her heart would like to talk about.

I think there's nothing wrong about how the question being formulated. Anyways, they could ask clarification if they're confused pertaining to the question and it's their right to do so. Nonetheless, the host himself made it clarified the word "right" means to correct.

Palestine is facially more beautiful and her communication skills are also pretty good.. Cuba and Puerto Rico is better than hers but I guess the judges prefered preferred beaut and brains over a good walk

I am sorry I have to disagree with you Luis on Korea's answers. She is actually the best out there. It would be so easy for any trained pageant participant to always talk about the wrongs in the world that are related to environment. There are so many wrongs in the environment that they could easily talk about but she did not touch that. She however, talks about how people are so wrong for thinking that being empathetic is the same as being kind...and that is what she want to correct. Who would have thought about that? She perfectly defined it in a way it would still relate to the environment and how people got it wrong in defining these words. That alone makes me think she is one hell of an intelligent (IQ nd EQ) delegate. And the way she delivers you know that it is just straight from her heart. She is so sincere and authentic and I'm glad the judges saw that. Australia is the second one who really answered the question to the point--however, her answer is someone you would expect already from a delegate of ME. We have heard that so many times in various interviews from any delegates of ME. Palestine could have answered it well...her delivery is also so sincere and free-flowing but if you listen closely she did not answer the question on point. Her first line is "The things I want to fight in this world..." That first line alone, the judges would score her lower than Australia who answered first. I agree with you about Colombia so no need to rebuke you there.

Korea's first phrase of her answer was, " IF I HAVE SOMETHING TO RIGHT IN THE WORLD, IT IS BEING EMPATHETIC.....BLAH BLAH BLAH .... and she got it wrong... how could you possibly right.or correct the.attitude or character of the people when it is good or is postive.... and, being emphatetic is a good character of a person. Mind you that the question was asking about the negative attitude or mindset of the people that need to be corrected ias far as the mother earth is concerned.

In my opinion, korea is a favorite and i love her too and no doubt she won, but im not into biased i think the best answer for me is palestine but the reason why she didnt make it coz she is overtime but she is beautiful and still a winner, to australia i like ber genuine smile if ever she won that time i will still be happy coz my idol taylor swift looks like her, and for korea she is charismatic thats why she won the hearts of many and deserves it coz their first ever major crown❤

I think Miss Korea did well on the Q&A. Her answer is on point, seeing it clearly from her point of view, although i may not be a common answer but it has some weight.

The association can only do the Top 16/20 for their favorites. The result will really be on the hands on the judges after that. This just show that Miss Earth is a transparent and unbiased organization.

Her answer is actually the best. Though Palestine answered the source of environmental issues which is ignorance and apathy (sounds like Karen Ibasco), Korea's answer focused on the solution which is to understand the pains of the victims of climate change by being empathetic, rather than just being kind. which is true. She just failed somehow to clear it up more due to time limit. Maybe she means genuine kindness from empathy. When you are a spokesperson, you should know how to organize your thought and simplify ideas for the common benefit of different participants from your audience, which Mina Sue did. And that is exactly what Miss Earth needs.

For me I don't think it's a cooking show. Korea performed well and even its either Australia won this two girls performed well. I'm rooting for palestine but her over all performance from the challenges it's a little weak but this girl she can be potential Miss World. Disappointed with Colombia I think it's better if she use a interpreter so she understand it better and she can really express her self not being just what she was taught during her training
