I can understand your frustration. You try your best with your best runners and you only get races against lower trophy runners all the time - I call this bait-races. You get placed on the top to be something the others can chase for trophies. And if you lose, it'll be veeery bad for you.
You are not weak, the game is just fucked up after the update and the SS-buff.
