I saw a video where the owner said that after many lawsuits from neighbors trying to shut them down, he now has authority to have in each new home sales package a form they must sign saying they will not sue the park for noise or I guess, anything else they don't like.

They use to run The Snowbird Nationals the weekend after Thanksgiving there and would field most of a card of top fuel dragster and funny cars. A whole field of methanol dragster & funny cars .
Found this channel after seeing these boys on Cleetus McFarlands channel. The cars and set up for them is mind boggling! Now subscribed 🇳🇿

We appreciate the videos. However, I hate to complain but damn, the video quality is really poor for 2024 standards. The quality looks like a flip phone circa 2007.

2. These test runs are they also for your crew in their new roles, ie clutch assignment? Are they getting comfortable in their new role?
3. Have you figured out the issues you had last season running in cooler temperatures?
4. The paint scheme on your helmet. Did you design it? Does it have any personal meaning to you?

Yes Jeff they ran top fuel cars there funny cars there pro stock tires back in the 80s during the Snowbird nationals I seen everybody from big daddy Eddie Hill even Darrell Gwen Pro stocks like to professor all of them were their back in the day I have seen 300 mile an hour in the quarter quarter they’re not 1000 feet
I have seen some old drag racing videos where Big Daddy Don Garlits was mixing a batch and testing it same as Don The Snake Prudhomme was mixing it too. That was back when they were their own Mechanic and Crew Chief before the big money took over the NHRA
Frustrating watching though a potato filter. Otherwise awesome job can't wait to see you get your full pass once you get some filming under your belt.. . Be just like making hot laps! Than baked potato films. 😂
Mr Lutz, you really need to upgrade that phone situation. You have a unique and cool perspective that we would love to see, its just impossible with 9 pixels making up the entire video, Brother.
Been going to this track since it opened was operated by Art Malone Big Daddy's partner. It's been about 30 yrs. since there has been this many fuel cars here at one time, I think the last time was a IHRA sanctioned event. The snowbirds used to be a good after the season event, but it was hard to get teams to come this far so it's nice to see SCAG put up some big cash to get them here. Be there Friday.
Ask clay or brent how to upload in 1080, im sure your footage is higher resolution than 360p 😁 im sure brent would love to teach you 😁

Damn once they give that sucker gas the audio goes dead for a while then comes back in. Those Top Fuel and Funny Cars are so bad ass just being at the bleachers watching them rattles the body when they go by it's so awesome.
Love what you guys do but could you do us viewers a favor and record on a higher resolution, like 720p or higher.
I don't understand why this was done in Bradenton. It's not a track on the circuit. I'm sure the drivers and crew chiefs are much more familiar with Gainsville.

Top fuel used to run for the snowbird nationals before the track started getting bad. I always went as a kid. So cool to have nitro back at the home track.

We all know Lutz doesn't build his own race cars because he doesn't want to die in the death traps he builds. You find silicone in place of welds on the cars he drives. I wonder if he has fake chassis certs on his own race cars.

No other racing IMO was half as dramatic, real and competitive in a shootout.

That's pretty interesting NHRA actually tests the fuel to make sure teams are within the parameters
For anyone who’s never seen these cars live go experience this. It actually punches you in the gut as it goes by it’s insane.
