Anime today can still be good. Look at Fate/Zero. There is practically NO fanservice, it's probably the most mature anime I've ever seen, and every single character bar one is an adult. There aren't any whiny bitch characters and everyone is fledged out. If an AC anime was like that it would be amazing.
Problem was the terrible generator. Flying in the air drained energy like mad and going on the water is still bad since regen rate is reduced. Since the map is 90% water and most battles there, that bad gen really hurt. Then again this was before a few of the recent patches. I saw a few gens got a massive tweaking so if I tried this again it might be a lot easier.
I would agree, but the facts prove otherwise. Why? 'Cause of the audience's average age. Most of them are teenagers - young adults who tend to avoid "serious matters" and prefer more "relationship problems". As a part of a group/company in animation, It's expected to go for more audience...

I really wish they made an Anime for FA, and kept expanding on it. AC5 and it's expansion were a joke compared to FA. Finally gave us a fast-paced, free flying mech game where you actually feel like an anime type mech... and then they took it away.

Like how in Big O, there's a 1940s feel and in Eureka Seven, theres a vaguely 70s thing going on. AC could have a grungy 90s cyberpunk feel. I mean, the first game definitely had it anyways so it fits, and 90s nostalgia has been peaking lately.

a problem with making ac4a an anime would be dealing with the ending. all 3 are kinda bad for humans. old king is omnicide, league supports a dying and corrupt system that is not sustainable, and orca kill millions for the possibility of a future. however, even if orca manages to get people to, say, mars, will humanity learn from their mistakes? but if the league survives, will humans change on their own, or just suck earth dry(er)? how could an anime address this ?
DarkSoulsSauron that is a good question, I think that the Orca ending is the least horrible of the three as there's actually a chance of a future, versus the corporation's plan which as you said is not sustainable.

@KewneRain I understand that. Nowadays I can smash White Glint into the ground with no trouble at all but when I first faced him I lost a good many times because my AC didn't have good enough parts. It was a rayleonard frame as I started out with it and its design ate energy like crazy and I couldn't afford to change the design. I was stuck basically and had to beat him using an inferior mech. Now my new Lahire frame can do him in quickly. And is fun to pilot! =)

Coming back here, it's pretty telling that the dev got sick of From having completely forgotten AC and decided to make his own.
Rank 9 White Glint was so good, the League needed two people to take him out, and one of them was Rank 1.
In one version of events he kills BOTH and you are forced to do their job...

Stasis' laser cannon is badass. My favourite weapon beside fragile's chaingun and the arm Kojima cannon.
