Failure to invest put the club into administration and were punished by the wretched Rick Parry and his cohorts at the EFL - who actually sanctioned this take over ! Later, he tried to wash his hands off this by claiming that the EFL could have not possibly known that this would happen ! Talk about passing the buck. Parry, the EFL are equally culpable of what happened. What about a proper fitness check? Instead of letting letting any old dodgy foreign investors boogie on in. Latics were practically asset stripped and dropped in the shit.
