I do it 5 times a week and it's made my teeth a lot less sensitive, clean and a bit whiter too. I haven't had any cavities or gum issues since I started this over 10 years ago! I am not surprised the ADA doesn't recommend it, but I don't trust these associations anyway, so I will happily continue. Thanks for keeping it real Doc, you truly are a gem! 💎

From their website: " The ADA recognizes the use of fluoride and community water fluoridation as safe and effective in preventing tooth decay for both children and adults." It has helped with everything you mentioned, bad breath, teeth whitening, gum health, etc. My dental hygienist asked me during my last visit what I was doing that was having such an impact on my amazing teeth and I told her all about oil pulling.

I reversed my receding gum line and my Dentist was very surprised. This was about 10 years ago and she had not heard of coconut oil pulling. She was very receptive and asked me to email her my online search about it.
A friend and I (who I introduced coconut oil pulling to) also took before and after pictures and yes it did whiten our teeth by one shade. (Still looks natural). It also subtly straightened my teeth, my theory is that strong, healthy (non-inflammatory gums) pull the teeth back in a natural straight position and holds it there. My final observation is that it remineralises teeth somewhat because the edge jagged edges (bite edge) was filled in and smoothed out.
Lastly, it also helps with my Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis symptoms.

This method you've shared is excellent, but it's worth considering the next step, which involves brushing your teeth. While this is a common practice, it's important to be mindful of the potential hazards associated with fluoride and other chemicals found in toothpaste. After oil pulling, which fosters a healthy environment for beneficial bacteria and supports gut health, immediately using toothpaste containing potentially harmful ingredients can counteract the positive effects you've just experienced. It might be beneficial to advise your audience about alternative toothpaste options or natural dental care practices to maintain the benefits of oil pulling.

In Poland we use this procedure for health reasons. This is intended to gradually cleanse the body of toxins. The first benefits that are visible are the unblocking of clogged sinuses and the recovery of overall health. However, you need to be patient to see the results.
You should pull the oil every day for 15 minutes after getting up.
I have been using oil pulling for 4 months now. After oil pulling, I brush my teeth with toothpaste or IPSAB tooth powder, then I rinse my mouth with 3% hydrogen peroxide or homemade mouth water with volatile peppermint oil and grapefruit seed extract.
I can confirm that I feel great after pulling oil and my mouth feels extremely fresh.

So I do it after I brush my teeth and then rinse my mouth and my gums have gotten so much better, less sensitive, and my sinuses have been better. I do it for 20 + minutes every day. Noticed a difference in morning breath too! 😉

I have done oil pulling for at least 10 years if not more. Almost every day in the morning for 20 mins. It makes my gums feel healthy and the teeth strong. I have zero pockets and zero plaque. I use the Ringana tooth oil which is mostly sesame oil but has some add ons (xylitol, curcuma, sage, myrrh). I know that many dentists don't recommend oil pulling but personally I see so much benefit I will for sure continue with this routine.

Been doing it for years about once a week.I am not very regular about it though. It is great for alleviating those little sore places you can get in your mouth. I also notice less plaque. It does seem to not whiten but almost "pearlize" the look of my teeth. Highly recommend doing this.

Good morning Dr Rajani, I have never heard of this but, I am going to start doing it today. I have a large jar of coconut oil in the frig. I try to live a healthy life style & this seems to fit into that. What harm can coconut oil do in your mouth when normally we eat it or use it for skin products. Thank you for the new information. I just found your channel & intend to watch it from now on. Thank you for the information. Have a good wekend.

I alternate using certain serums. Im supplimenting with vitmain K2+d3 and vitamin c as well. Omg im looking years younger!!! Its been around 7 months and people think ive had work done 😂 I had awful fillers and even after dissolving it twice I still didnt look like me. Now I feel and look like myself again, but even better! You have no idea how wonderful this is after over 2 years of regret from getting fillers. I'll try oil pulling and add it to my self care list!
