Nultar Valley | Gilgit Baltistan | Pakistan

One of the most beautiful landscapes in Gilgit Baltistan is a place near Gilgit city to Known as Nultar Valley. It has forest, which is known for scenic beautifies of all seasons, especially the winter.
It can be reached in a 4*4 vehicle. In winters it iron chain is needed for all 4 tyres otherwise it could slip and not reach to the top, since it has some steep road on the way. It took us about 3 hours since our driver has to manage 2 more chains since he tried with only 1. On an ideal situation Nultar can be reached in 1.5 hours from Gilgit. It also has a ski resort and every year the competition held and participants from all Pakistan and some international athlete patriciate.
Nultar Valley also has 3 stunning lakes namely Strangi lake, Blue lake and Bodlok lake. These can be reached by foot or by a Jeep as well. By foot it may take about 3-4 hours on one side track which is not very difficult.
