A small point. When installing the new nut on the ball joint, you may need to hold the ball joint from rotating as you tighten the nut. Otherwise great video as usual from these guys.

Hi, Thank you for this video. I have to replace mine on a MY 2000, the boot on the ball joint is already broken. But what symptoms will one experience if the ball joint on this upper arm is bad?

Next time you do one turn the bolts around! I have factory photos that show the nuts should have on the inside thereby makeing it easy to change the arm without removeing the shock??

Вот я тоже думал, думал, неужели в Мерседесе такие тупые что не могли это продумать и пришел к единственной причине почему они так поставили эти болты. Наверное если по какои то причине гаика с внешней стороны открутиться при движений, чтоб болт не выпал польностью и уперься бы в стоику предотвратив польностю потерю управления. ХЗ.

Nuts are on outside. Allows you to tighten without removal of the shock.

Всё хорошо, но болты надо было перевернуть, чтоб стойку в будующем не снимать.
