Desert Defense is AMAZING for VF in dogs. I use it here in AZ a lot & I always recommend it to anyone dealing w VF in their pups.
Where can I find desert defense? Help my great pyranese has valley fever
Does my dog have to be diagnosed with it first? Or if I think her symptoms are VF can I give it to her?
@@Yankeez001 no, just go online and look for Desert Defense. They have different options. You can contact them and ask them which formula is best. If you live in AZ, I highly recommend starting it to stop VF from even forming.
@@pittifulbeauty ok thank u! I do live in AZ. My dog has recently started this strange cough thing. So I’m trying to figure it out. It’s hit or miss with this cough and like 1-4 am. So trying to find ideas to get to the bottom of her issues.
@@Yankeez001 blood test will show if it's VF. Most vets/labs here automatically run cocci titers. Hope pup gets better! But I absolutely recommend DD.
Thank you. I myself have been suffering from valley fever since January this year. I took 1 month of the anti fungus medication and I got way worst then I stopped but until today I have chest pain and shortness of breath. Pain in my ankle(joint) is going on for a while, now I started have pain in my fists and pain in all my body.
How can only 1 dog out of 4 dogs get valley fever?
Weaker immune system, more prone to the fungus. Some people get really sick, and some are asymptomatic. Just like people, all dogs are different.
