Thanks, Ileane. Great to see you here. Good question! With Meta, anything is possible. But I think that's unlikely. Removing RTMP certainly hasn't been announced. It's just the Groups API. It does make you wonder that the thinking is behind this. Are they working on something new? Who knows!

Thank you for this! Just to confirm after April we will still be able to stream a presentation into a Facebook group using OBS? I use Reflector 4 to mirror my phone in OBS to show comments, will this all still work? Thank you!

Glad it helped. Whatever tool you use, you can stream to Facebook Groups as long as you're doing it with a stream key and stream URL. So, if you've been doing that in OBS, nothing changes.

Sorry for the delay. I've not tried live streaming from Zoom for a while. Last time I checked you needed to use Facebook Producer and so if that's the case, nothing will change.

For some reason Facebook just wants to kill their platform. Need 100 followers for streaming on your own page and you can't stream to groups. You can only stream to your own personal page which I don't want people to know my life at all.
