Canonically it was written that they increase their power by absorbing energy through their skin. So they kinda have to show skin man or woman if they’re trying to be THAT much stronger.
Such a wasted opportunity for Animal Man to shine. He was clearly aware of the situation and it was shown that his daughter was capable of helping the situation. So why just show that Animal Man is aware of the situation and then just have him do NOTHING?!?! Such a waste. Still a criminally underrated character
@@VideoGameMontagination if they specified that, it would at least make sense why they just show him there but they also show in a side issue that his daughter is not only ineffected with everything that’s going on but she was able to change people in and out of their “beast” forms so clearly people with their power set could have had a much more major role in the story. Like imagine if Red Hood went on a murder spree in Gotham and you saw a panel where Batman was really shocked about it but he just never shows up again for the rest of the comic. Kinda weird when it’s put that way right? Lmao
