Hi Thank you for the video. It is very useful. I just want to ask you that if I can use butane stove in the room? As you said in your video, I would like to cook by myself almost everyday but wonder if it is pohibited to use fire in the room since it seems there is no fan in the kichin. Or do you only use electric stove?

Hey Disha I want to ask that how much do grocery or the food cost for one year
Hey Disha,I’ll be at GBC soon, I was wondering if this is a good option because I seen reviews from students on google saying there is a lot of issue with the sound, and you can practically hear everything that goes on,people tend to party often and play loud music,which becomes a problem when you want to sleep, also there is an issue with the staff not dealing with your issues on time, and can take up to 4-5 weeks to fix problems…have you faced these issues? Or have you heard that these are common issues there? One last thing do you get to pick your flatmate?
Hey Simran, personally I haven’t faced that issue, but if you are being disturbed from loud party noices, you can complain to front desk or security, they will get confront them & probably give them warning or ask them to lower down. From my experience privacy & rules are being followed strictly so you won’t have to worry about it as per what I think.
And yes! You will have the option to pick your roommate, but be careful to check the notifications or email cuz there will be timeline in which you would have that option, otherwise they will assign you a random person as per your preferences.

Hey, it’s totally upto and whatever you want, all you need to make sure that when you leave the room it’s exactly how you got it.

Hey, you can try looking on FB marketplace..also there are few groups on fb like Toronto apartments, etc. join them for more options

Hey, it depends on your course..but usually it will be from Monday-Friday…probably a few classes in a day

Yea that’s fair price for room on sharing basis. Beware of fraud & scams there, look for actual or video call to confirm & don’t make payment till you reach there

Hey, I’m sorry as of now I don’t have any contacts from that course, but I can suggest you how you can find them…go to LinkedIn & search for that course name & GBC, you’ll see students and can reach them out by messaging them.

Hey, it depends on your budget…if you’re comfortable paying about $1400-1500 a month in residence it’s fine. But you can find cheaper options online too
How much it cost your room?
It’s term-vise, so I paid $10,300 for April to September.

Hello, you can pay in 2-3 instalments…the first instalment needs to be paid prior to coming in residence to confirm your accommodations.
