When an item is found out of the players reach, this usually implies that the developers put it there in order to copy past it to parts of the level. They didn't care about removing it, because you can't actually interact with it :)

My theory about the door thing is that It could have possibly been a thing that mickey could use. Maybe taking him to a different part of the film or something. Or it could be used to switch if you are going through it backwards. That might make sense if there was a bug for it and that was just the way to fix it. Or possible collision issues and they needed to make a duplicate to make sure it worked. It could be anything honestly

Fungus how do you remove the death barrier to get to places under the map and how do you modify the config.ini file to make it so you have unlimited sketches before you should unlock them and turn it back into a rom?
i’m not sure how to remove death barriers. but you can give yourself infinite health and all the cheats i had by editing the config.ini file if you have the .iso for the game. i learned how to do that here: docs.epicmickey.wiki/modifying-game-files

Speaking of dead men tell no tales as a kid back before pirates of the Caribbean 4 was even a thing I had a nightlight in my wall so if I had to get up in the middle of the night I could see where I was going but on the plate that goes in front of the lightbulb it said “pirates of the Caribbean dead men tell no tales” and I thought it was just some misspelling or someone just fucked up and then pirates 5 comes out and has the subtitle dead men tell no tales

It's not really a reference to anything, it has to do with the password text. "Dead men tell no tales" is the removed password to enter.

If you install Dolphin Emulator there is a free cam option that you can enable
try using freecam in the beta for EM1
unfortunately there isn’t any early builds of EM1 that are available. but there is for EM2 so maybe i’ll make a video about that some time
