Over a decade later, Next Level Games still don't know what a fair difficulty curve is.
As much as i love that game... the strikers cup itself was a freaking nightmare Dx
Ikr it was impossible for me to win a cup without having a Power Type.
But i must admit the unfair difficulty is, the better thrill.

When Mario Strikers Charged became the top spot of the Wii games catalog, Nintendo gave more permission to Next Level Games to create another Mario sports games, this time was a volleyball game which later got the name of Super Mario Spikers, adding wrestling moves and more cool stuff.
When Nintendo came to see the progress they thought it would be very very violent to sell, so Super Mario Spikers got cancelled and *never* gave permission to Next Level Games again to create another sports game. The only left things about Super Mario Spikers Is conceptual art and some animations that you can find in Google and here in TH-cam.
Now Nintendo itself creates the Mario sports games and Next Level Games creates some other games from other Nintendo franchises like The Legend of Zelda, Punch-Out or Luigi's Mansion

I legitamte almost cried when i was able to finally fu**ing beat him Dx
I could never beat him. His entire team is extremely aggressive and defensive. Petey himself will non stop try to pressure your goalie until he makes a goal. I can beat him in the first round but the second and third round his team gets more and more aggressive to the point where its dark souls levels of difficulty and not possible for me to beat. After the first round he will attempt a super strike which requires the player to have ultra instinct to block them. He does this everytime to me because my team gets stunned by the electricity so no one can stop him.
I tried even doing it again about a year ago and still couldn't do it. I didn't no where as much issue getting to him but i couldn't beat him. He avoids all stage hazards to best of his ability so he can do his super strike while my team has the dumbest AI I've ever seen because they always run into the hazards.

He *REALLY* does; only for electrocutions.
From 1/3 of being electrocuted in the game, he showed it a bit in the gamecube game.

Glad to see that the strikers series can charm other people to this day. Nintendo really should make another installment in this series, there's alot of potential to make this epic.
On a side note, glad you choose to use the dry bones stylish goal, as well as play wario.

Funky Kong needs to be a captain in a deluxe Ver/sequel along with Rosalina. As for sidekicks, I think Luma, Blooper, and Boom Boom would be good choices without going overboard.

I forget if it's this game or the one for gamecube but, if you play a game against Peach's team and body slam or trip her into the electric barrier around the field, you get to hear her let out a very loud scream FYI. Also it's ALOT harder to get the striker cup then this video makes it out to be.

Diddy Kong is a hard boss to beat don’t get me wrong I couldn’t even beat him on my own I don’t know any secret ways to beat him I tried certain characters like Mario, Luigi, & Daisy but haven’t pulled the trigger on winning so yeah I was going to try more characters to unlock diddy but I ended up not playing it for awhile and Im not sure what character has any advantage against diddy Kong the crazy cheeky cheep skate monkey who can be very impossible to defeat ☹️so I guess I just have to keep trying until I beat him or just give up on it for eternity!!!.... but still in all it’s a good game it’s just not very easy that’s Soccer for ya yes I even remember having this game when I was 10 they same year it came out for the Wii I sales the commercial and I thought it be a cool game to play but the game that I got for the Wii to begin with was Mario party 8 because that game was the reason why I got the Wii it was fun and exciting to start off with I liked and 8 is my favorite # since I was 6 and by the time I turned 8 it was my lucky number I got my own dog that year and I even got my own Nintendo game with games like Mario kart double dash, need for speed hot pursuit, & Pokémon XD gale of darkness cause that’s what came with my GameCube, I got the Pokémon bundle bs I then pretty cool huh!. So many chilled hood memories in my early years of gaming!.
I beat Petey and Diddy. Like a long time ago, and I do still now when I play. I always use Yoshi, Hammer Bro, Toad and Koopa Troop.

What about a defense-focused team? Defensive characters, like Waluigi, Daisy, and Dry Bones can teleport past the goalie if their deke is timed correctly and the ball has enough charge.

How do you teleport so far with drybones?
The defensive players' teleport range is determined by the charge of the ball. Gold or white ball makes a long distance warp, red or purple barely moves you forward.
