I've watched a lot of dudes play a lot of gear on TH-cam but this might just be the best playing / tones I've ever seen in a demo. Stand up applause......now I want one of those amps so bad......

...and here I am, commenting again. Like stated before, you guys made me buy the MVP23 and I wanna share my experience after two months of playing. Perhaps it helps other people, who are in the same situation. The problem was: Whenever I switched on a rather "transparent" overdrive pedal - and you really end up doing that with this amp -, I had a nasty top end sizzle, especially when using the neck pickup of my strat. I had the amp's Gain set to 1 o'clock, the Master at about the same just because I thought it might give me the right amount of power amp saturation and preamp crunch. As desperate as I was, I bought a couple of different overdrives, even swapped all the tubes, but I couldn't get rid of that sizzle. Last Thursday, the very important information I've read somewhere came back to my mind: "Gain and Master Vol are affecting each other." So I drew the silly simple conclustion from that, "If I turn up Gain, I need to lower the Master Vol". So I left Gain at 1 o'clock and lowered the Master Vol to about 11 o'clock and voila, it sounded so much better. And the amp didn't even lose volume! Right now I'm using the OCD for a nice fleshy gain sound and an EP-Booster if I want to boost the amp's preamp for more crunch. With the latter, there is still some sizzle left, but it's something I can live with. I've read in a forum thread, that people had that problem with other EL84 18-watters as well. But still it'd be nice to hear if someone else has made that experience. :)

I think that the Mvp 23 with single coil, “clean” and with some reberb is what I have in my head as THE TONE. I am between the mvp 23 and the bad cat cup 15r, but after this, I think mvp will be the way to go!!!! Thanks guys.
These amps sound amazing clean. Perfect and such a small cabinet and not boxy.

I haven't followed Andertons much until just recently, so I was just wondering, what did happen to this show with these two? I know now they have reviews and such with the captain and the other guy I think, but these guys here were better at showcasing the amps capabilities from the few videos I just came across.

This might not account for much but, when I bought a Kemper a few years ago, on my first going through all the factory profiles, I stopped dead in my tracks when I got to the Morgan profile. And I bought the KPA for djent and extreme metal use. I had to get on the internet and look up what heck a Morgan amp was. So good...man.

I just ordered a special amp from Joe… a PR5 with with two output tubes in Class A… and reverb. So stoked to get my amp after hearing the PR5
I keep coming back to this video. I ended up returning my Morgan 2x12 cabinet but I am tempted to sell both my Blues Jr and my Blackstar amp and pick-up the MVP23 Combo, that's pretty much all the amp I'll ever need.
That tone starting at 7:30 is just so damn good. David Grissom licks for days mick.

Speaking of "dwell" (depth, decay etc) - I've found that a bucket load of reverb with very little dwell on a nicely burning Les Paul is the best way to mimic the guitar tone on "Heartbreaker".
Fuck sake that jam around the 10 min mark... Could listen to that all day! You know what, Imma play it on repeat :D

Beautiful playing guys! I am looking into getting a Morgan and the mvp23 seems extremely versatile. The dirt sounds great , but what surprised was the cleans. Is it really that versatile?

Ok guys, it's your fault, that I bought this amp as a head! Love it. Lots of sustain and IMO, this amp really shines, if you treat it with some reverb in your DAW. I've been using with a 1x12" cab loaded with a Vintage 30. And that seems to be a bad match. While that speaker really shines with my JTM-45, it sounds way to harsh with the MVP23. So I've ordered a G12
H-75. We'll see if that's a better match. Probably should be, since they put it into the combo version. ;)
I wish there were tabs out there for all their jams. Not that I could play them, but would be fun to try and would pick up some nice tips for sure!

I got one. Cool little head! Very very light weight! Didn't handle ANY of my OD's worth a shit! Or the power section was faulty! Def a 23 watt head! Sent it back!

Damn, just ordered a MVP23, because I want something not as loud as (and different to my JTM-45). I wonder if that plan works out. ;) The PR5's break up sounds a tad farty here and there. Or is something wrong with my headphones?

Almost 1700 pounds is ridiculous for a 5w princeton, no matter how good it sounds. However, that MVP23 is something else, I don't think I've ever wanted an amp that bad!
