    Thank you, Sergey.
    That's what I formulate to myself: "Less brain - fewer worries" :) Switch off emotions and just exist for some time. Surprisingly works for me.

    Hi.
    Thanks for the tip it worked beautifully for me. Was stuck at 75ish meters and when I tried to go further I would stop at 60-65m.
    I only had my goal to go 65m,, but felt good and I did 104m.
    What was also helpful was that I am swimming in 50m pool, and I started in the middle so I had 1 turn at 25m and one at 75m. I felt I could have continued after 104 but decided not to risk it and progress slowly
    Again thanks 👍

      Yes, agreed. It was frustrating, I felt so long that I could do much more.
      I mean, I could do static 5.10 but only barely 75m?
      Anyway, your advice to be in the present is very valuable. I just stopped my apnea squats table yesterday, simply because it was too hard in the beginning.. so I thought it would be too awful in the end. Very good to notice this mental challenge

    Will definitely try it as i am stuck with some numbers

    • @KAIZENFREEDIVING
      @KAIZENFREEDIVING  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It works with majority of my students. Minimum goal should be a realistic distance, though not easy one. Something like 80-90% from recent MAX

    How do you define the contraction? the body response of diaphragm such as spasm? or feeling urge to breathe? I'm confused it

    • @KAIZENFREEDIVING
      @KAIZENFREEDIVING  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So called "urged to breath" is an involuntary contraction of the respiratory muscles. Most of time freedivers feel at as diaphragm spasm (though it is more likely to be a movement of intercostal muscles)

    Sergey I am in week 1-4 of the training plan on the crystal freediving website. What does “50 over 25 under for 10 minutes” mean exactly?
    “DYN (8) - Warm-up 2*25 meters, 1-minute rest in between. 3-minute rest, 40 meters. Continue with 50 meters over - 25 under for 10 minutes (video). Finish with drilling underwater turning.“

    • @KAIZENFREEDIVING
      @KAIZENFREEDIVING  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Means that you swim underwater 25 meters, then without rest 50 meters on the surface, then without rest 25 underwater, etc. 10 minutes without rest
