I started the Keto diet in March of this year. I immediately stopped sugar and flours, including ground provisions. I walk for 1.5 hours 5 days per week, since September 2020. I went from a size 14 to a size 10. The pain in my left knee is gone and the pain in my right hand is also gone (I was diagnosed with arthritis). I sleep better, my skin is looking younger and have more energy. I'm 61 years old, and this is my lifestyle from now on. I eat twice daily: 11 am and 6pm. Watching Dr. Sven's videos makes everything more understandable.

@@Arthur88 yes. every time you eat, no matter what you eat. No carb/sugar, low carb/sugar; Insulin is made. so if you ate everything in one setting/ giant meal/ within the same time frame. your body would create less Insulin.
also the longer you intermitt fast (No food) Glucogin is made which is the opposite of insulin, and your body creates H.G.H and enters atophogy where it fixes, reconstructs, strenghtens, creates all new cells, tissue, muscle bone, ligaments, blood.

I wanted to share this with you. 2015 I found out that I have acute kidney failure. After getting out of the hospital the best my kidneys have done is 34%. Usually their function goes up and down. It's difficult to be consistent with everyday life. Several months ago I started fasting every month but still drinking my water for the kidneys. I had my kidneys checked and they were at 35%. Today I got the new results and they were at 38% the highest they have been since I got sick. It has to be the fasting. I'm very grateful for your videos and I thank the Lord for wisdom I came across. I initially tried fasting to help my joints. After loosing over 20 lbs. It has helped. Thank you.

I have dropped my AC1 from 11.1 to 6.4 in 4 months. Eat mostly a plant based diet, with some seafoods. I stick to 2 cups of black coffee with the second cup I recently started to put 1 tablespoon of MTC oil, which did help me to increase my fasting window from 16 to 17 hours. My reason for fasting is to bring my A1C down to a normal range, I’m close but not quite there. I use almond flour and stevia to make my baked goods, muffins, cheese cake, cookies etc. I use arrow root to bread my fish, I eat really good without grains or sugar. Learned a lot from Dr. William Davis books. This was before the Keto craze. Even make my ice cream with heavy cream and berries. His 3 books are on Amazon.

I love that Dr. Ekberg has been very emphatic about stopping sugar. My regular Doctors don't discuss much about the benefits of lifestyle changes. Sometimes they even discourage my wanting to change. I have never understood how or why some people can be so discouraging about someone else wanting to change their lifestyle for the better. I am learning to not listen to the naysayers, no matter if they are the person next door or a professional person, such as a doctor. My Blood sugar has been getting better and better as I lower my sugar and processed food intake. Yes, I understand that I might not ever completely quit all the bad stuff, but when I think about the consequences of not doing any lifestyle changes, and how that would eventually result in kidney or some other organ failure; knowing that people like Dr. Ekberg are out there cheering on me and others such as myself to change our lifestyles, the incentive to change is doubled.

    My weight loss so far..!!
First snack at 12 noon, lunch 1 pm, gym from 5.30 pm to 7 or however long it takes.. one scoop of protein powder after the workout and last meal at 8 pm.. i have black coffee with one table spoon of honey at around 6 am..
    Almost 4 months in..
Started at 265 pounds or 120 kgs
Current weight 210 pounds or 95 kgs
Working out 5 days a week.
1 day of HIIT 4 days of weight training.
    What i eat?
I am not a dietician or anything, so i just try to eat healthy.. it's not rocket science.. stop with sugar and refined carbs.. that's it..!! If this helped you I'm happy..
PS. I still have my 2 beers every Sunday afternoon 😂 (which i intended to stop by next month and completely give up on alcohol)
Remember!! Good things take time and you'll start seeing results only after a month or so..
    Cheers 👍

My belly fat is vanishing without a trace and fast. I have lost 60 lbs and now it is mostly coming from what's left of my belly. I drink two cups before 2 pm. I put one TBL of butter fat in my black coffee. I drink teas, lemon and Acv and water. I walk at least 4 miles a day. I stay in ketosis and autophagy at least 19 hours, but often go 21 hours. Since I've started fasting (3months; breakfast and dinner, the last 2 weeks only one meal per day) I went from 240lbs to 211lbs.

How come is intermittent fasting viewed by so many people as being such a dangerous thing when in fact, the opposite is the case? Do other people WANT us to get diabetis, cancer, arthritis, blood pressure, a disrupted sleep management and dementia?
And WHY do I come to such a conclusion?
After viewing videos like this one, I couldn't help noticing that foods and drinks primarily containing carbohydrates and sugars seem to increase insulin and cortisol levels, which are said to be bad for your health. I am quite grateful for the way doctor Ekberg explainednutritional aspects of what and how we can eat to promote body health, but I also used to watch videos from doctor Fuhrmann, which inspired me originally encouraged me to curb down on body fat. I once weighed beyond 100 kilograms, but I began to feel uneasy about weighing so much when I realized how negative I felt vulnerable due to coming to know which diseases could befall me if I stayed onthis path.
It wasn't always easy, but I manged to reduce my wight to around 70 kgs, which I feel content with - also because my physician told me my blood samples were on the healthy side after being analysed.
