- Andrew Cuomo has been governor of New York for almost 11 years, but he has commanded the political spotlight here for decades. He's had his ups and downs politically, but nothing like the sexual harassment scandal that now led to his resignation. CBS2 political reporter Marcia Kramer has more on the rise and fall of the scion of one of the state's most important political families.

I like Governor Cuomo...I dont know him personally, but I've always liked the things he says. He seems smart and fair. He basically said he understands that what he did wasn't smart and it hurt people. He apologized. He said he doesn't believe he should lose his job over it and would fight to keep it. if it didn't waste a lot tax dollars and resources that could be dedicated to more pressing matters. He said he believes he accomplished a lot as Governor please don't take that away from him. I have no idea why people are mad at this speech?

It probably has more to do with the elderly that passed in the nursing homes from COVID. Perhaps that was sexual harassment, as many times there is, But New York is a mess. Be careful to make sure someone very good replaces him. Best to New York

I've never put much stock in women that come out and complain in large groups. If it bothered them now why didn't it bother them when it happened. Why because it didn't bother them that much when it happened. They just want to be on the offended band wagon.. When ever i stepped out of line with a women ( no one is perfect). I got it in spades. Every time. There's an expression that I like, what ever happens there is a shared responsibility..
The victim blaming is just astonishing. Is it because it’s the governor? Is it because he’s a democrat? No one should be above the law, as Cuomo himself has said.
I don't like the large orchestrated groups coming out at the same time either. Not one of them came forward when it happened. I can see a few not coming forward but not all of them. It's happened too many times and looks stage each time. Doesn't mean nothing happened. Doesn't mean something did. It just looks suspicious like it always does.
@@arthurbb8937 seems political almost like it's backlash from all the mistakes he made from the last year or two. 👴 dying and having too much bravado about it. If they kicked him out of office for that specific reason it would become political. (He would be in the category of Hitler).
