I am a Christian. I saw and heard you Rabbi several years also several other Rabbis including Tovia Singer and Michele Skoback. The Jewish version of the Holy Scriptures are awesome. and the explanations are worthy enough to find the creator, the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob. The oneness in God. Your teachings are extraordinary Rabbi, continue your good work.

This opened my eyes! I was born Jewish. Didn't practice much. Keep finding myself out of place at any church. The people are always very inviting but, I still feel out of place. I didn't practice the Jewish Faith much growing up because I didn't like school and was given the choice to continue Temple or not by age 11. I still enjoy Christmas with friends and family but, now that I'm 42yr old I'm going to go back to Temple and see how it makes me feel. I've lost both parents and feel sooo alone and want to turn to GOD in a comfortable way. Church is really okay but, I do not think it's my ultimate answer.

0:25 to 0: 35 In hinduism people cremate the body into ashes so the soul knows that its vessel has been turned into ashes and its time to move on to the next realm...
1:32 In hinduism we perform prayers and food for the soul for 13 days and light oil fire and also add vessel of water for the soul and perform big ceremony on 13th day . Every Year on the death anniversary we have to perform a ritual to satisfy our ancestor who came before us by doing homs and puja and offering food and water.. As per "Garud Puranas " the book of death " a soul comes back on 3rd day after the death of physical body.

I don't hear the Glory being given to God. I hear a human centered excuse to honor the sinful flesh and a desire for the body to continue performing traditions and rituals beyond death. I hear a focus on the rewards of heaven for the human, not a rejoicing in finally being nearer to God.
Beware the leavening of the Pharisees and read your own Bible/Torah and pray for wisdom and understanding of the Holy Spirit to find God's Truth. Be still and listen to God's quiet voice and personal message to do God's will. Don't rely on the corruption of a watered down explanation by a human who you have no way of knowing if their names are written in God's book of life, or if that person is really being used by Satan to decieve you by offering you the forbidden fruit of the "tree of knowledge."

This illustrates that at the end of the day, no matter how you cut it and what mental gymnastics are employed by the apologists - if you take the belief out of Judaism it doesn't make sense/work. That is true for basically any religion. Today it masquerades as a "logical" interpretation of the world/reality through some very smart people. "Judaism is what you do not what you believe" is a common motto. However one cannot do without believing in god, the Torah, the Talmud - therefore belief is everything in Judaism.
PS - this applies to Christianity and Islam as well.

The Bible says: the living know that they shall day but the dead know not anything.
God made the body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life and man became a living soul.
A soul is a body from dust plus Gods breath. When you die, you go back into the ground and the breath returns to God. The dead are asleep and no nothing until God returns again raises them to judgment.

hi dear, i am looking for the answer that is there any concepts of punishment in grave in Judaism, i ask a Christian he said there is not logic of punishment in grave but we followers of Muhammad (PBUH) use to believe that there is punishment in grave after death, we have hadith(words of Muhammad) that a jewish lady came to Muhammad and told about the punishment in grave. but i never read anything in Torah, Gospel or in Quran directly about punishment in grave.

I'm not Jewish, so i would just like some clarification. What is than the point of praying in Judaism. You say God wants you to. But what do you "get" out of it? From what you said it sounds like life will just go on without any intervention by God even if you need him. I might be all wrong about this. Thank you for your time.

In Judaism, we perform mitzvot (commandments), because they ARE COMMANDMENTS! We don't do so with the expectation of a reward. Just as a person who loves another, does acts of kindness and caring for them without an expectation of a reward, so we should perform G-d's commandments out of a sense of love and awe without asking of or thinking about a reward!

Is it possible Rabbi that the soul is the source of our caring so it gives the physical body the ability and longing to be in relationship with others and with G*d? I can conceive of the idea that when enough good has been done an entity new physical world will be created with all souls and Mosiach in physical form. What the rules so to speak will be, the laws and the justice system will be is fascinating to consider. Yes G*d has the power to be a dictator but that is not the relationship he wants with the world because that would still leave him alone. Obedience and compliance is not a full relationship.

Love (god) knows every star by name.
We accumulate light and warmth (love) by appreciating this paradise planet lifeboat and the miraculous works of fine art called "life" that inhabit it.
If we extinguish our light and warmth (love) with "greed" and it's ignorance (hate)...we become the darkness and emptiness that surrounds the stars.

I watched another video where you been explaining life and death but could not leave a comment there so here we are.
I very much like your explaining things but some of them to me its just nonsense as you been explaining when resurrection comes the soul will unite with previous body which sounds really something weird so maybe needs to be counted how many people needs to be resurrected?! 🤔 What I don't like is when religions misinterpret things which clearly have no understanding.
In the book of revelation it mentions that New Jerusalem WILL NOT have previous things like oceans, our sun etc.. All this can only mean that you will not need your nose as there will not be atmosphere or oxygen as the other parts of your body but instead you will be given another white clothes (new body) which clearly be different. Also it says in same book where souls demand revenge from the God and again it mentions the white clothes given to them.
So you will not need to eat what we eat now and we will not breathe same air and we will not create family means no reproduction so why would we need to be resurrected just to be dismembered again from soul?! Doesn't sound in logic?!
I'm not saying I have an answer but I'm sure most religions gets it wrong, well completely WRONG conception

what happens when people die. well nothing happen. if there is a heaven and hell and we know if the torah is right about sin then it quite clear those who have stole cheated and robbed others of their wealth and belongings clearly go to gell as well as making fun of others in public. if god is real then there is no mangod that can challange god that will go to heaven and anyone who has worshipped a mangod will go the same place as those who did not go to heaven because worshipping a man as a god that is not god was the worst sin in the bible. the worst sin was when men made themselves god. if moral intelligence was more than average among all of the people in the world then people would know momentarely who are the sinners.

"If in this life there are so many ways for purification and repentance, how much more should there be after death! The purification of souls, when separated from the body, will be easier.
