Don pulling out that pie was epic. Craig would call the show House of Pies with Kristen Bell too. This is one of the greatest TV call backs of all time.
Everyone in this comments section is over analysing Craig's hosting. Craig Ferguson is a master of comedic banter. He was supposed to keep the show interesting without things getting dull and without a big budget.
Naw, man, not sure why you think he is not impressed with the Ferg. He picks up on the absurdity and runs with it better than most. Maybe it's his dry nonchalance that puts you off. Gotta love the whole pie gesture. And would love to see him in "Waiting For Godot"--maybe even with Craig, though that might make for a very different "Godot." But that might not be a bad thing. Thanks for the Tim & Don clip. Have you got a compilation of Tim's "Roving Reporter" bits? P.S. What about a Tim & Don "Godot"?
He's jousting with him in a dry way so it appears antagonistic but some good stuff is coming from it and they know it; the 'cupping' was great as was the 'in Don Cheadle's Ass movie'. There's a relationship and a continuity there that wouldn't flourish in true antagonism.
I think most celebraties (did spell that correctly. .....?....moving on...), that I've seen on Craigs show are having a wtf moment when they first come on but by the end (mostly unless hey are total arrogant brats), they realise this isn't '.....another interview. ...*sigh*' but just a regular chit chat where they don't have to promote their next big film/TV product for the nTH time and sigh in relief and just have a laugh instead.
What was Don Cheadle referring to when he said "that's kind of insulting?" Did he misinterpret what Craig was saying, "don't do that [dont get in the mindset of a golfer]" or something? Seems like Don thought he was referring to his hand gestures or something?
"insulting" his skill since he said acting/being in a mindset of a golfer could make him better at the sport which Craig says it wouldn't really help since it's a mechanical skill. I get both points though, being in a good mindset can help improve performance, but also faking til you make it isn't a good thing if it's done too much.
I find it very amusing that the audience roared at the mask and sanitizer bit in 2014, but today they would all have their own tiny sanitizer on their person and be required to wear masks in the studio.
I love Craig but I feel like he doesn't connect with Cheedle. And Cheedle always seems slightly nervous, so it doesn't help when Craig won't play along. I skipped to the last interview to see if maybe they got better over time, and they did, but still seemed a little weird. Like Don seemed genuinely upset when Craig corrected him on the pronunciation of Godot. (Craig had the correct pronunciation) at 1:00:50 . I've never been a big fan of Cheedle myself but over the years I've come to have a deep respect for him. Now I realize I was wrong in underestimating him and notice how many interviewers still make that mistake.
i dont think so ... its not a bad thing. as he himself said since 2012 he was already to leave the show and was developing another..i think that he was already calling less in the time, a bit tired...but having fun
He was a smart man. He knew he was getting repetitive, thus he decided to leave. With the passing of time he relied more and more to Geoff, who was incredibly good. But he did leave. And his next show, while good, was not as famous nor recognizable as this one. Seeking other shows, while creative, made him less popular.
he did not leave the show to realize that it was getting repetitive, he started to get repetitive when he already knew he wanted to leave the show, as he himself said in early 2012 he had already told the crew that he would leave and that he was developing a game show with courteney cox, the crew asked him to stay just a few more years and gave him a bigger studio and more money ... he accepted but said that it would be just a few more, he would announce his departure before even david letterman, but they asked him to wait ... and that's what he did, he gave more opportunities to geoff to steady his mood and began to care less and less with the monologues, which was not bad, since even though it was not the best to continue much better than all the others. As he himself said he never was or wanted to be a "talk show host" and his whole show is just a testament to that, above being a presenter he is an actor and writer, and I can confirm that one of the best I have ever read. .. he never had great ambitions in this environment, he did what he wanted and it worked, time to finish this book and start another .. and I can say that he did well in the game show yes ... so much that he won two emmys, besides prorama with his wife who is very interesting, his historic show on the history channel and his radio that I can say was THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER PLAYED IN YEARS, and I can not wait for the movie that will come out at the end of the year. he is not interested if he became more or less famous, he is interested in doing what he loves, and that's why he did the tlls and all the others and stopped short too ... because he wanted to continue while he still loved, and the I admire so much for it.
I loved his reaction to Geoff. "Oh shit, what the fuck is that?" Totally took him by surprise.
They are both witty and playful together. I loved their chemistry and flirty exchanges.
Don may not be the funniest person but he shows a lot of class when he humors others to elevate the comedy.
Don pulling out that pie was epic. Craig would call the show House of Pies with Kristen Bell too. This is one of the greatest TV call backs of all time.
His appearances are warm and sharp as hell. His mind is so quick. You can only verbally spar with someone you like.
I thinks they get along very well!! One of my favorites!
I love Don Cheadle now. What a nice guy. I hope for his continued success.

Thank you for all the hard work. Really THANK YOU!
Don't mention it ! Enjoy!:D

P.S. What about a Tim & Don "Godot"?
Seems like a reasonable assessment. No I don't. But I will probably include all those in the compilation of Tim Meadows when I do.
The JayLeno Fly Yesss Tim Meadows compilation please!
Exactly what I was thinking! Don matched Craig's humour better than most guests.
he's just a narcissist, very obvious
Thank you for all the work you do, Jayleno Fly. You have my highest respect.

One of the best payoffs to one of the longest running gags on late night. He ran with the House of Pies with Kristen Bell too.
Don is a funny man, thanks for this.
"Beaver Falls is not a country. Beaver Falls is a condition."
They could've left that in, right?
How witty was that! 😂
He would not have returned 5 times if he was not impressed by Craig - lol.
Don is my favourite male guest on this show. There are too many women guests to choose from, so I won't.
I can why you’d say that. It’s Lauren Cohan though.
You forgot to add no homo
@@RemoGutierrez1 Huh? What does "Add no homo" mean?
Waiting for Godot with Don Cheadle and Craig Ferguson would be great!
I think he judges him a bit on a professional level, but defiantly not negative. It reminds me of when I look at other cooks cooking.
I'd never mistake Don for Tim. And I'm racist
Man their chemistry is crazy
holy shit I wasn't ready for that one 33:48 hahaha
Wit is a tennis match and only a select few know the game
What I don't like about the new Supper Man movie is it teaches kids that power and heroism comes from something external instead of internal.
love your uploads aa always. could you do a video of all who won the special, golden mouth organ ?
Already done that. Search on youtube "Golden mouth organ the jayleno fly"
At 16:08 - HAHAHAHAHA!!!! "A 1940's Gangster" HAHAHAHA!!!
Don Cheadle's the best.
so chill
Love Craig and Don.
It’s not racist to think he and Tim Meadows look alike. Plenty of white actors get mistaken for each other too. That bugs me.
Robert Downey Jr, Javier Bardem, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan
best man √ 💛♥️🧡🏆🔥

I caught that too. I thought maybe Don thought Craig was talking about race? I'm sure I'm wrong, but I know what you mean.

Great interviews

Don’s Colonoscopy - scored by Danny Elfman
He's not impressed because he's pretty witty himself.
I love Craig but I feel like he doesn't connect with Cheedle. And Cheedle always seems slightly nervous, so it doesn't help when Craig won't play along. I would’ve loved to see Fallon and Corden as guests on this show...would’ve been amazing ❤️❤️
How do they take out
Hollywood goats? Kid
Rock.
Don Chilldle
By that time, Craig was getting very repetitive.
