Sidney has better vibrato, better pitch control, better range, better breath control, better sustain, better resonance. So on any actual measure of signing capabilities she is better. However he is good in his own right and has his own style that has appeal. Good luck to both of them.

It’s apples and oranges. Richard has a fabulous rock voice and she has a fantastic Broadway voice. Both are incredible in their own genre. There are thousands of amazing Broadway voices, but there are very few voices that can replicate one of the greatest rock voices of all times. Journey music is very difficult to sing. It’s really tough on the vocal cords. My vote is for Richard.

Sydie Christmas will be a massive star with her personality and singing voice i get the feeling that a lot of people are saying Richard just because of his personality his voice is nowhere near her level
I predict she will be very successful on Broadway type shows. She pigeonholed herself by singing nothing but American show songs. She'll never be a pop star. Richard, on the other hand, can either do covers in Vegas or maybe get an invite to help Journey. Both have great pipes and I would never diminish either's extraordinary talent like you did.
