Glad you're liking it dude. We thought that thing was the epitome of keep it simple stupid. No moving parts, and if it somehow breaks we'll send you a new one. All for $20 compared to the expensive dial systems that take the whole helmet down when they break.
One thing you might want to add is a small light for admin use. I'm setting up my nv and realize I'm going to need some kind of light when I'm not using NV. I'm going with streamlight sidewinder stalker. I'm not running drills just for hunting, walking in woods, driving 4 wheeler, anything fun.
That's a really good point! Small admin lights are a huge win in almost every case. Any recommendations for a favorite? Personally my go-to is the mini-scout from Surefire.
@@HardHeadVeterans I'm looking at stream lights sidewinder compact II and the stalk. My first helmet and just really using it for my nv. When your in the dark your going to need something and stream light has the colors I'm thinking would fit well.
The Ranger in the video also did the editing. I don't think they're known for spelling well. Also, it was a bunch of grunts that proof-read the video. We obviously did our job well.
One request is adding one more twist/overlap to harness/chin strap assembly on the non buckle side, to allow moving the vertical strap back away from right eye/cheek. Otherwise 👍
We'll have to keep this in mind as we start iterating on our next design. We're also working on attempting an ambidextrous chin strap, failing that we'll go for left/right handed as an option in the future.
your editor missed the misspelling of Raiting it should be Rating. I love your helmets but the Mlok rails are terrible, it makes headset mounting so hard trying to find all the stupid adapters to use 3m mounts because the hhv mlok headset adapters are terrible
Correct, the ATE Gen2 is made in China with DuPont Kevlar sourced in the United States, and our ATE_Lite is made in Texas with UHMWPE that we've sourced from Honeywell.
@Hard Head Veterans (ATE® Ballistic Helmets) When will all your products be made in the USA. Other vets to include myself do not trust any ballistic protection coming from china. See plenty of the videos of their quality, and We DONT trust them
can confirm the snapback works very well especially for its cost.

This Cody guy makes some pretty neat videos.
I mean, he's aright.

@@fredkenner2103 We'll definitely make sure we cover down on this in our upcoming NV guide.
@@HardHeadVeterans when you do it I'm interested. Only had my nv on my weapon, this is my first hands free experience. I'm learning.
Excellent presentation.
Just got your ATE Lite this week. It definitely lives up to the Lite, and the micro lattice feels cool and comfortable.
I just wish the micro lattice wasnt so dang expensive.
It is nice
Thank you for your service
Overall good. But my "Attention to detail" forces me to point out the error at 01:12. It is spelled RATINGS, not RAITINGS.

Shit 😂😅
Very useful!
WOAH cool!
Great video
Awesome
Does y’all’s rail accept the Team Wendy O2 mask strap for HAHO/HALO?

you're SOL if you're going against opponents that use night vision as well if you plan on using the IR strobes or lights.

Thanks John.
