It is a crime that the secret ending ends how it does. It really should have included Kieferberg and especially Elise standing up to the demons with the hag by her side. I don’t even expect her to live, but there had to be something there beside a reskinned ending for the secrets.
The moral of the story is: real winners quit. The best endings are when you walk away from the story. The worst endings come about trying to see it through to the end.

And in the end it really is a demon. She plays around with dark forces, and though she is given EVERY opportunity to walk away, she doesn’t, and just watches as an innocent young woman is literally torn to shreds in front of her. What are all the beautiful dresses of the world worth, if they are bought with the blood of a friend? What are all the great shoes and maids and jewels and all the food you can eat, if to get it, you have to deceive someone and have them killed? Nothing. Bad Ending Elise’s life is worth nothing. And that’s what leads to pocket mirror. Her daughter is the after effects of her being so selfish she’d sacrifice another person for material wealth. Elise wins when she realizes that she is rich in love and kindness.

I swear it's so cute, the symbolism using the garden, flowers plants, imagery.. EDRYHERHRE it's perfect Out of all the love interest, Freya is definitely the most innocent one. I don't want to choose her, purely because I don't want to drag her down to Elise's messed up fate. It's so sad. I want the best for these girls.
