True ,be cautious beware of duplicate fabrics which looks alike linen as well this is also happening with 100 % cotton.

Thank you for voicing this! I have a question, if linen unlike cotton does not have a count - what questions can one ask to figure out the authenticity of linen. It is good to know that if there is any sort of shine on linen it might have some other mix in it.
Just ask for the price break-up. This is the acid test for textile illiterates.

Some people just sell linen which is inexpensive and sold as linen at higher quality linen prices.
Price is not indicator of quality they fool people by selling at higher prices people think its high quality.

Sir , may be the reason that linen undergoing certain chemical process that pure linen in raw form can not be used to make fabric or not wearable ....
here i talk about only handwoven textiles chemical process is a part of mills. I don't agree linen is not wearable without a chemical process...there are traditional indian process to make linen gentle. regards...

But we could only go by price, brand and by feeling of fabric , and the logo something like European linen, Irish linen

Sir i can only talk about Handloom sector. So far i know Aditya Birla group is the only pure linen yarn manufacturer in India.
I also bought one from Aditya Birla group
Now how authentic don't know

Does costly linen mean good quality linen?? Inference of this video seems so .there are many sellers who sell linen saree at 3.5k to 4k..are they selling proper linen material?? How to ensure quality then?
Other than cost calculation i don't think there is any other easy way to identify authentic linen products. Linen saree can't be done in 4k (if you can make a cost sheet you can also confirm that).
