I know these probably aren't your most popular videos, but I love this! It's always nice to see a bit more from the hobbying side of things. When a see a Battle Report, you're really only seeing the very end product, you aren't seeing the hours and hours put into getting the models and terrain ready.
THIS VIDEO is what first got me into Warhammer 40k! 2years later and I’m collecting Guard and my first 500 points are combat ready! Thank you play on tabletop!
This board is making me wanna go on vacation. I could stare at this all day, I love beach settings. Can't wait to see some blood spilled on those beautiful beach sands also lol
a big star wars fan that plays Tau.........i am in no way surprised. Also this channel has inspired me to start actually playing 40k instead of just collecting the cool models. Currently am building a Crimson Fist kill team
You can use tile grout over the sand. It gives you that nice sandy look and lots of color options, plus it's very fast. You don't have to paint it or wait for additional dry time.
Yo Nick, you did an amazing job! You guys should do more painting and terrain videos. No even tutorial, just you guys talking and doing the things you enjoy. It is very calming and nice to know you guys want to share this with us. Keep doing you guys
Okay that was cool. I've been looking for exactly how to recreate a good Scarif board, as they're perfectly modular, you can shift a lot around - perfect. Seriously, very well done, thank you for this!
Dude seeing tau (my favorite army) being combined with Scarif (my favorite planet from my favorite star wars movie) is so cool, its like this tutorial was made for me Also I’m super into cosplay and the Scarif Trooper was one of my first costumes i made :)
Became a patreon because of this. Just started in the warhammer community but the level of dedication you all have to your craft is insane and beautiful. Love it.
I worked at GW when they first released this resin-like water effect in a bottle and my manager told us to make something using it to promote it... we used like five bottles just to make this shallow river that flowed through a 4x4 board and it was NOT CHEAP! We were for sure reprimanded and I am not even sure if they still sell that product. This process would have been much better! SICK BOARD! Well done!
I would support you guys on Patreon, I love your battle reports! They are SO high quality and every single member of the cast from the players, producers, etc. Are amazing people. However, I'm starting a necron army soooooo I won't have any money to spare. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see you guys in the far flung future!
What an amazing job! It's always a pleasure to listen to Nick, his passion has inspired me to actually start collecting 40k (Tau). Maybe next time you can do some sort of Kamino looking bases to put in the middle of the water, for that clean, Tau look. Keep up with the great videos!
Very cool, Nick! I forget where I saw it, but it was one of the train set mini landscape channels on YT where to get a wave effect on water he used a lot of toilet paper and PVA glue (And I think there was some other stuff involved) It gives you a more intense wave effect you might want to give a try. Looking forward to the battle with this terrain!
I love these videos and I love Tabletop but I have so little time to actually learn, assemble, paint and play with my armies. I still haven’t done my Dark Imperium starter set. I guess this is the life of a student.
Amazing as always! You make it look like its rather easy (and I'm 100% sure it's not) and that is a hallmark of real pros. You are the best and thank you for the amazing tips.
I am legitimately jealous of the stuff you guys do. I wish I had the sort of space to keep a specialty table like this. Sadly, I have to take a more modular route using battlemats.
So, I’m more into fantasy role play D&D type stuff than war games. But your enthusiasm for the craft and for the game just got me. New sub for sure. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
this looks amazing, battle of scarif is probably best looking location for star wars battle ever. Would love to see kill team on mantis, so excited for next episode
Oh I really did like that battle scene too for once I get to see beach battles with advance warfare battle tech on a bright sunny day. its not as oftenly done in movies so Im glad to see it on SW and here.
This is Commander Shepard, and Star Wars Legion is my favorite game on the Citadel. I enjoy watching the 40k battle reports you guys do, but as a Legion player I am excited that you guys are looking at branching out there. I hope the community response is enough that it can become a regular feature if that is your goal. 👍
I loved this video. Frankly, I love anything with Nick, he's so excited about everything related to this channel. These videos have helped me keep my sanity during this eternal pandemic. As soon as I have some money I'll become a patreon!
Great video. Love the building and crafting and would love to see more of this! Also it came out looking absolutely amazing. You should be super proud!
Well done fella, top job bloke! Your boards are so appealing. It was watching your battle on Endor that made both my daughter and I decide instantly that we must build it and play Legion. We aren't even gamers. I played a little D&D when I was 11, I'm getting the Clone core set for my 51st on the 23rd of May. Looking forward to a lot of sculpting and painting a dioramas/game boards and armies. Cant wait for Bad Batch release in June. Thanks for showing us how cool this all is.
This one is absolutely awesome, great work. And, the best, it´s redoable. With no big effort and money... Great keep it on. Hopefully, the battle will take place soon, can't wait to see it.
Love it Nick! Came out fantastic! Loved every moment of the battle report. The passion you guys bring combined with your production values and creativity make for amazing content. I can't wait to see what you guys do next.
Awsome! I was interested in dioramas and playing boards for a long time and i do admit that this one inspired me. I never understood water making techniques but the result is amazing! The plants and structures give it nice atmosphere as well. Looking forward to the scarf battle report.
That Coconut Crab Tyranid gonna be good on this Terrain
Legit, I was thinking the same! It fits so well
I know these probably aren't your most popular videos, but I love this! It's always nice to see a bit more from the hobbying side of things. When a see a Battle Report, you're really only seeing the very end product, you aren't seeing the hours and hours put into getting the models and terrain ready.
The manta has a 34 inch wingspan and it weighs like 28 pounds, life goals
That's before you add the close to 70 models (2/3 being infantry) that are in the interior and included with the model.
I too want to have a 34 inch wing span and weight 28 pounds
I would love to see some Star Wars Legion gameplay from you guys! This looks awesome!
Seconded!
Thirded! Seeing legion with the cool effects playon has would be killer
Please! We need this!
So do we! We have to get some painting finished first
“Yeeees! Yeeeees, Yeeeees!”
Beautiful board guys really could suit a pacific table for WW2 wargaming. Love it!
Oh yeah! Maybe some bolt action?
@@PlayOnTabletop absolutely!
Nick is an absolute delight. Beautiful work.
I've wanted to play in a table like that since I played Virmire in Mass Effect
This would be a really good setup to have Freebootaz in old-timey pirate ships on!
Orktober!
THIS VIDEO is what first got me into Warhammer 40k! 2years later and I’m collecting Guard and my first 500 points are combat ready! Thank you play on tabletop!
That honestly has to be one of if not the best looking tables I've seen not everything has to be "grim dark"
Agreed. Sometimes 40K needs to take a holiday.
This board is making me wanna go on vacation. I could stare at this all day, I love beach settings.
Can't wait to see some blood spilled on those beautiful beach sands also lol
So much blood....
a big star wars fan that plays Tau.........i am in no way surprised.
Also this channel has inspired me to start actually playing 40k instead of just collecting the cool models. Currently am building a Crimson Fist kill team
When I get a home, I will %110 be attempting something like this board! It looks sooo amazing! I love the colors you chose for the water!
Did you do it?
I love the Terrain in 12 minutes format!
Table looks fantastic really eye catching...
This board is amazing, it’s great seeing amazing boards that aren’t as expensive to make
This is amazing, can’t wait for the battle report
Insane man. Beaches have other material than just sand. Flocking adds texture. 😊
I’m glad you guys are doing cool tables like these. Too many people seem to want absolutely flat tables
Absolutely stunning.
Absolutely love this! For me this is the second best board you've done so far (the skystrike table is still my favorite)
Looks absolutely amazing
Awesome board! It is so good when the table has a story to it. It creates so much more immersion into the game.
Beautiful board! Scarif is a cool board to fight on for nearly any wargame. Nice addition to the map rotation.
Gotta keep it fresh!
Awesome video, awesome build, awesome dude!
This is awesome, I love the step by step it makes it seem like a less daunting project
Nick's excitement always brightens my day. I love your stuff, Play On Tabletop Team. Keep at it!!
Your welcome!
This is seriously impressive and amazingly only cost 150$... Amazing work and I will definitely take some tricks from here to make my own water areas.
That table looks sooooo beautiful. Kinda wanna make vacation there...without the battle...
Looks great guys! Can't wait for the battle report showcasing 2 great armies and terrain.
I like the enphasis on budget in this video
You can use tile grout over the sand. It gives you that nice sandy look and lots of color options, plus it's very fast. You don't have to paint it or wait for additional dry time.
This is incredible, always loved the look of Scarif
Nick is my favorite person I am building a bunch of 40k kill team stuff just because I want to play with him
Rogue one praise, talk of manta, sweet terrain, this video checks a lot of boxes
Yo Nick, you did an amazing job!
You guys should do more painting and terrain videos. No even tutorial, just you guys talking and doing the things you enjoy.
It is very calming and nice to know you guys want to share this with us.
Keep doing you guys
Anyone playing on this table is obligated, during deployment, to yell "Are we blind? DEPLOY THE GARRISON!"
Oh 100%. How could we not!
Thanks for walking through the build- looks like it was fun and plays great!
Love you guys, not been able to play any games of 40k since covid and I always look forward to watching your videos for that 40k fix i need :D
Okay that was cool.
I've been looking for exactly how to recreate a good Scarif board, as they're perfectly modular, you can shift a lot around - perfect. Seriously, very well done, thank you for this!
Speaking as a fellow fan of Rogue One (probably my favourite of the Star Wars movies too), glad to see Nick is another man of culture! :)
For sure!
Dude seeing tau (my favorite army) being combined with Scarif (my favorite planet from my favorite star wars movie) is so cool, its like this tutorial was made for me
Also I’m super into cosplay and the Scarif Trooper was one of my first costumes i made :)
Dude same i prefer scarif trooper armor over all and i have a awesome tau that uses ocean fauna as camos
Such a beautifully done table. Love it!
Gorgeous work.
Became a patreon because of this. Just started in the warhammer community but the level of dedication you all have to your craft is insane and beautiful. Love it.
Well thank you! That means a lot.
I would too if I could
Even by watching us you’re supporting us so thank you so much!
Lets see if nick can cancel the apocalypse in this next battle report
Amazing interpretation of Scarif - also yeah Rogue One was indeed awesome.
I would love some more of these building videos.

Not gonna lie, would love to see Battle Reports of SW Legion in this awesome channel
We are very much considering it!
Wow, this is truely amazing, it really looks great and the water effect is nice, convincing and not too time consuming. Congrats Nick.
I love these videos and I love Tabletop but I have so little time to actually learn, assemble, paint and play with my armies.

What an ace vid, I'm a gen 1 Star Wars fan and the Battle of Scarif was the dogs bollocks.
Awesome table, definitely going to make one soon!
This set looks awesome. Can't wait for the battle report! Let's see the tau kick butt!
I am legitimately jealous of the stuff you guys do. I wish I had the sort of space to keep a specialty table like this.

Now all you need is a Tau army based on the scariff beach stormtroopers from Rogue Ones.
YES, Tau would look wonderful in tan
@@alexanderthegreat6682 uh, their original colors were tan.
@@Ironfrenzy217 that's right! I'm so used to seeing them in white or red now
This is such a cool board! I can't wait to see the game played on it, it'll be amazing.

Love it Nick! Came out fantastic! Loved every moment of the battle report. The passion you guys bring combined with your production values and creativity make for amazing content. I can't wait to see what you guys do next.
Neither can we!
Looks great Nick, love the blues
Was skeptical at first but a beach setting is a welcome change to the grimdark city ruins and rocky deserts that are on your standard table.
Awsome! I was interested in dioramas and playing boards for a long time and i do admit that this one inspired me.
I never understood water making techniques but the result is amazing! The plants and structures give it nice atmosphere as well.
Looking forward to the scarf battle report.
Joining the patreon not for the greater good but for the greater Manta!!!
Aw yes!
Just to see you have the biggest grin ever I will be supporting you guys this friday
Well thanks! All aboard the manta train!
I actually...
don't have a bad feeling about this
