- Perfect lines. Perfect family meal. Grilled chicken made easy -- Born to Egg style. We made chicken tacos, but these can be used for anything just by changing the marinade.
How to Guide:
Pound the meat -- not to death, just to a consistent thickness
Marinate in your favorite seasoning for 1 to 12 hours. The more time the better. (I used Chefzito Fajita Seasoning for these chicken tacos.)
425 degrees indirect heat
12 minutes (depending on the thickness of the chicken)
3 minutes, turn, 3 minutes, flip, 3 minutes turn, 3 minutes, done
Enjoy!
This is my new favorite channel. Thank you!!
“SMALLS!…..you are killing me!”
I like it.
I love his presentation! More importantly his BGE expertise!
You were RIGHT! ... unbelievably juicy indeed!!!
I appreciate the temperature and timing instructions! I followed your plan and now have yummy chicken to devour with my salad for dinner! Thanks! Too bad no photos are allowed!
Looking good.
Just bought my first egg two weeks ago. Watched all your videos prior to my purchase, your channel is a good one, enjoy it very much and thanks for your help so far
Awesome...let me know how I can help
I love the simplicity. Season however you want. indirect for 3 minutes between each rotation, between 375 to 400. only leave longer if shy of 160 internal.
I'm trying this tonight!
Hell yeah!!!
What type of grate is that? Cast iron? Thanks for the great video. Just got my BGE-XL and am loving using it!
Great recipe boss.
Thanks man
Looks amazing! Just got the BGE 2 days back and tried chicken breasts for first time today. I went with about 200c/400f, direct on the stainless steel grid, for 13m each side. They came out not as juicy as I hoped and a little too well done. Did you do the legs up convector or legs down? I will also try the iron grid next time.
GO LIONS
I will try this thanks!
Love the video but I have a question. Your grate is sitting just above level with the bottom of the egg. What are you using to get that up that high? When I cook indirect, my grate is level with the egg. Thanks!
Nice bbq'ing, they look very good. one point of advise. Don't give some that special rub at 4.35! Good job!
SO JUICY!!
SO TRUE!!
Good looking chicken breast. I can tell you really like that Egg. Take care!
Love it
Nicely done. Just tried it out and it came out great. I've been trying to figure out a new way to cook chicken breasts without drying them out. I will never cook them another way ever again.
So happy you enjoyed them...chicken breasts are a staple in our house
@@borntoeggwithrobbeane9337 How do you cook boneless skinless chicken thighs?
@@michaelacevedo3376 same way I do the breasts
@@borntoeggwithrobbeane9337 same amount of time?
@@michaelacevedo3376 they are usually smaller...so I'll go 4 minutes a side...turning every 2 minutes
I like that concept. Care to share what you do for beef ribs and fish?
Ribs...indirect
Fish...it varies
You are the Freakin Man !
Thanks my friend!
Please explain the "INDIRECT" concept and how to do that as you mentioned several times. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Indirect is when you use the platesetter...direct is when you cook directly over the flames. Platesetter turns the EGG into a convection ovenish.
If you are ocd about lines on the grill like I am, you prob have great yard stripes in the yard too. Haha
Absolutely ❤️
Haha. No, your people do not know how fortunate they are....🤣
DEEEtroit!!
Hell yeah!!!
